The media frenzy explodes and Nashville homicide lieutenant Taylor Jackson knows instantly that The Pretender is back… and he’s got helpers.

As The Pretender’s disciples perpetrate their sick homages – stretching police and FBI dangerously thin – Taylor tries desperately to prepare for their inevitable showdown. And she must do it alone. To be close to her is to be in mortal danger, and she won’t risk losing anyone she loves. But the isolation, the self-doubt and the rising body count are taking their toll – she’s beside herself and ready to snap. The brilliant psychopath who both adores and despises her is drawing close. This book got me in trouble, I listen while on my way to work and was at a part in the book that I just wanted to hear and before I knew it I was late clocking in..... Well worth the "talking to that I got!!!"

Interesting until the finish

This author kept me interested all the way through. There is another book with the herione available, and I will certainly be purchasing it. If you like Patricia Cornwell, espeially her earlier books, this book is in that style. A good listen.

For fans of Eve Dallas

I have long searched for another crime series featuring a strong women lead with fleshed out characters - all the things I love about the Eve Dallas books. The Taylor Jackson series is just what I needed! I'm thoroughly enjoying these books!

Too much to follow

There are SO many characters and side stories that it's hard to follow. I kept with it, so curious about the end... Which was a complete let down :(
