Publisher's summary

One murder.

Three suspects.

Each has their own very different story to tell of an ill-fated stay at the Saunderson family remote country residence, Three Sisters.

But, will it be left to the final report of Inspector Mackenzie to shed any light on this most baffling of crimes?

Very Dry

I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and any opinions expressed herein are my own.

This story is comprised of several excerpts from diaries, reports, etc. from which the reader gathers information on the murder. The resolution of this case is up to the reader as no perpetrator by the author is revealed. I found this to be very dry.

The narrator, Michael Baker, has a very pleasant voice and was a highlight of this material.

Unique but short and doesn’t tie up loose ends

Without spoiling it this is all in all a good novella. It is the murder of a young girl in a manor called the Three Sisters. It is a list of abstracts, letters, diary entries and notes from all the parties involved and the police constable conduction the investigation. Some issues I didn’t like: 1. The narration drops off in a few places. 2. I don’t feel the end adequately tied up loose ends. 3. All the parties involved both appear guilty when other people discuss them and innocent when they themselves explain the situation.

Twists and turns!

Twist at the end keeps you hanging there!

Michael Baker does a good job narrating.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
