Ya gotta love John and Danny as they bring more emotions to light.

My fifth book in the series. This time, though, a sadness in the loss of a loved one and dark secrets galore.both in Ceepak's past and the murders in which they are working. This is what we expect from phenomenal narrator Jeff Woodman to deliver with his excellent talent. He has a range of voices unlike any I've heard. He combines his serious, heartbreaking tale along with his humorous narration to deliver talented author Chris Grabenstein's excellent and disturbing novel. Still, these these two never fail to entertain. Highly recommended.

Great Series!

I have loved this series from the beginning. I find myself giggling often, yet following a great mystery. The Narrator is THE BEST! His
East Coast Accents Crack Me Up!!! One more reason to listen to the series!

Good entertainment if...

Really enjoyed his first book in this series and was delighted this one was a sale item. The narrator is great and provides a lot of humor while narrating the running commentary going on in the main character's head - definitely something we can all relate to! Would have given higher marks if I didn't have to suffer through the author's political sniping...just entertain me!

Down the shore

I love this series of books; they're lighthearted, fun and I love the stereotype references to New Jersey...and not just because I grew up there. Whenever I get tired of urban fantasy and zombie, I know I can always listen to a story about John Ceepak.

Boyle is growing up

Any additional comments?

The characters of Boyle and Ceepak develop over the course of this series. In the first book, Boyle is young and inexperienced. You can really see Boyle growing up and getting a bit of an edge in this one. The mystery in Mind Scrambler is very intense or at least it was for me. It's good when a book draws you in and gets you involved and invested with it.
