Publisher's Summary

From the number one New York Times best-selling author comes a new explosive thriller.

Mind Game takes Jane MacGuire back to Scotland, where she continues her search for the treasure she's been chasing for years. But now she's being plagued by dreams of a girl in danger. Who is this girl, and what is she trying to tell Jane? And will Jane figure it out before it's too late - for her and the mysterious young woman? Things are further complicated when Seth Caleb comes back into Jane's life. This time he's the one in trouble, and Jane will find herself pulled unexpectedly into his world as she fights to save him.

With the adventure, intrigue, and explosive energy that Iris Johansen fans love, Mind Game is a high-octane thriller that listeners won't be able to pause.

Love Love Love

The Eve Duncan series, with all of its spin-off characters is one of my all time favorites. This one did not disappoint. How long do I have to wait for another?!

The Imperious Jane!

Not quite done with this book and had to stop to write a review to let off some steam. I've read all the Eve Duncan's novels; loved them all, never had a bad reaction to any character before this one. While I love the closure re Jane related McDuff treasure and the storyline overall, I find Jane imperious in every sense of the word and can't imagine anyone wanting to be in any relationship with her or within any proximity to her. Trying to understand why she has evolved into such a contemptuous character from the author's perspective; where's she going with the character? Don't think I would be interested in any future novels that she would be the central character in. I love the mysterious Seth Caleb character and the insight into him; but certainly hope this is the end of Jane-Caleb storyline! All the character spinoffs from the Eve Duncan series are fantastically compelling storylines on their own that I will continue to read excluding Jane.

As usual a great story.

I love the spin off characters Iris has from Eve. Jane is one of my favorite. The ending in this felt a little rushed. Don't want to give it away, but it was a huge moment and all the character's lives and it just seemed to fall short. We are so use to so many details and picture of the emotions, this was just rushed.

Great as always

I always love the stories in which Jane is in it and I really like the dynamic between her and Caleb is a very complicated relationship that Iris Johansen does a wonderful job fleshing out. my only complaint with this audio version is the mispronunciation of Chira.

Definitely NOT what I was looking for...

I asked for an Irish psychological thriller novel... instead I got a fantasy love story that was neither Irish nor psychological. The story was just ok, if you like love stories - I mean, I don’t think any well thought character would actually act, say or do the things Iris Johansen had her characters do, but I guess love fantasies work that way. I will NOT be reading/listening to any more of Iris Johansen’s books.

A long awaited Jane & Seth Caleb tale

It was great from beginning to end. I’m sure hoping this is just the beginning for these two, that maybe they’re going to get a spin-off series of their own. It’s feels like that or the end of the Eve Duncan series. It turned into a kind of reunion with all the old characters coming back for a visit, with some things finally settled & others solved.

Waiting

I've been waiting for this book since ice met Caleb.. He's a mystery and he wanted it to stay that way.. But to get a glimpse of him was exciting. And a vulnerable Jane is a good look. She's so much in control that it's nice to see someone else take it from her. This book was full of excitement and murder and mayhem.. Just how I like it
