Any additional comments?
This was a fun book to listen to! The main character Ziva Diaz, beauty consultant is likable and relatable. She investigates a murder, gathers clues, and meets men. Her friends and acquaintances are quite interesting. The action is fast and the story took many twists. I didn't guess correctly who the murder was. I am hooked and would like to listen to the other books in the series now. This story does not disappoint!
I was gifted a copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
Nothing special here but it's a fun mystery without a whole lot of mystery about whodunit. My biggest issue was why Ziva decided she was going to try to solve this murder. I mean, she sells makeup and all of a sudden she thinks she's a detective. I know there are plenty of books out there like this and sometimes I can see how they get drawn in to sleuth a little but in this story it makes no sense to me at all. I found this story to be a bit silly more than anything but still, it was worth a listen. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.
