Boring, Slow, and Not a great Carlotta Mystery

Ms. Barnes appears to be tiring of her character based on many of her recent outing. This one has some of the least fun of the Carlotta series and its tedious. Some of her best supporting characters are left out or barely mentioned with further weakens the fun. The reader is awesome like always but can't save the story. Don't recommend the book except to those who are been with Carlotta from the beginning...

this book

If you could sum up Lie Down with the Devil in three words, what would they be?

page turning!!! this is the book where mooney and Carlotta final get together it is about time!!! if you are a fan of the series you know these 2 belong together. Sam was never right for her.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

In the last book previous to this one it left off with Sam going to Italy because he was framed for a murder. In this book it work out how she solves his framing. Paulina is in a mental institution because of what happened to her in heart of the world. In this page turning book you never know who is good or bad. With out giving to much away it is good.

Have you listened to any of C. J. Critt’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love CJ critt she is one of my most favored readers for book on tape. I have bin lissinging to her since i was about 9 years old. And she always does well.
