Loved it!

This book had my attention from the first words. The characters were well developed and the narration was easy to listen to. I found myself stealing every minute I could to listen as I went through my day and staying up much later than I should have at night. I will be looking for more books by this author.

Another winner from JA Jance.

Thought provoking and so very hard to put down. Some of the Southern accents were a little cringe making, but narrator was very good. Thanks for a great story.

back story

I love her stories since I have lived in the areas.

my biggest issue is that her back stories on each character are far too long and detailed. back stories on main char ters, sure but every character. It gets very boring.

This is a can’t set down book. The suspense will keep you going to the finish. J A Jance really put on a fictional story that can be taken from real life and a must read for all young people

Joanna Brady is back. Baby Sage is almost due while her mommy is standing for re-election. This book is told from multiple points of view. While Joanna is on maternity leave, a serial killers dumping ground is found in Cochise County. Her department works the case with Joanna doing work behind the scenes. There is plenty of suspense.

We get to see familiar characters, but new deputies give a fresh feel. Old problems with gossip "news reporter" gossip Marliss Shackleford is back causing havoc.



The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Hillary Huber is Joanna Brady.

Enjoyed it very much. I like all of J.A. Jance books, but this was well written and.
kept things moving.

The Great Sheriff Brady’s Team VS a Serial Killer

This series is getting a little long in the tooth. However, the stories are still good as is the character development. The addition of new characters help rejuvenate the series. There are a few moments in this entry where you have to really question the intelligence of a few of the characters. That’s why I couldn’t rate it solid 5s . I really enjoy this series, but as with so many of them, you have to eventually say goodbye.

Some people have stated that they don’t care for Huber as the narrator. I think she nails it every time.

Great story

Feel like I can always depend on J.A.Jance and love Sheriff Joanna Brady. Stories are very realistic and I learn a lot about the Sourthwest.

finally a new book in this series

I always wait for the next Joanna Brady book to come out. I was slightly disappointed in this one partially because the older daughter isn't in the story anymore. Over all I loved it.

Field of Bones

I am a huge Janc e fan. I love the way she weaves the story and I feel like I know each character well by the end of the book. I like books where the good guys win and the bad guys go to jail or die. This fits that order.
