Publisher's Summary

The final Sea Haven novel from the number-one New York Times best-selling "queen of paranormal romance" (J. R. Ward).

For five years Viktor Prakenskii has put his life on hold to take down the world's most feared motorcycle club from the inside. But carrying out the insane violence and seeing their exploitation of the innocent has brought his traumatic past roaring back. And there's only one cure: to see the wife he left behind.

Blythe Daniels never thought she'd see Viktor again - after he murdered her stepfather and left without a word. She rebuilt her life without him, becoming a personal trainer and physical therapist, becoming strong enough for others to lean on. But when Viktor comes back to Sea Haven, he'll make Blythe question everything she thought she knew about good and evil - and the dark desires of the heart.

    "waste of time"
What disappointed you about Bound Together?

What disappointed me about time book is the last of story. Is seem the longer into this series Christine Feehan wrote the less interested she became. She tries for the easiest feels and it falls flat. I felt this book was written to complete the series but I would have preferred the truth...it was clear she didn't want to write the book. It was so bad, I had to make myself listen with hopes it would get better. Its sad, I've enjoyed her books for years.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    An old favorite.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Lily Bask?

Narration was fine. The story sucked.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

My reaction to this book is sadness or disappointment. I also feel like I wasted my time after waiting 7-8 years for the set to be complete. The auther dropped the ball.

"Final story Sisters of the Heart"

This is the final story in the Sisters of the Heart series, & Feehan does a decent job of tying up the series. She draws in the Drake sisters & spouses, too; & even links in the finale of Elle's story with this one. Even though previous stories mention Blythe being a cousin, there were never details of her tragedy & how the Drakes were involved; until now. By process of elimination, we knew Blythe was involved with Viktor, and that he was undercover; but I didn't or couldn't imagine the conservative Blythe as constructed from previous stories would be involved with the character of Viktor as presented. But it does fit in the world Feehan has built as she develops the story. Kudos. Re: audio: Bask has a strong mature feminine voice that I hope to hear more of; but is maybe 10-20 years too old for Blythe. She is a bit weak in her masculine interpretations, too.

    "Not another..."

What is going on with this author? I LOVE the Drake Sisters series, loved the first two Sisters of the Heart books, but the writing has continued to go downhill for the rest of the series. Seriously disappointing since this story - featuring Blythe -- was the one I have been waiting for since this series was introduced. Maybe my expectations were too high? But both the hero and heroine spend way too much time being whining and Blythe is uncharacteristicly not her usual intelligence. I don't want to give spoilers, but too much of the "history" of these two is way too off to logically fit into the series overall story. Too much repetition -- and a lot of it whining. At one point I fell asleep during the audiobook, woke up, listened a few minutes, rewound to hear what I missed, and realized that in nearly 20 minutes I had missed nothing -- the her and heroine were still in the same "I don't know how I feel about you but I can't forgive you" and "I left you but my world revolves around you" argument -- and one that had been repeated several times by that part. I was so tempted to not finish this one, or even to return it, but I held out because I hate to leave a book much less a series unfinished and not intact. Unfortunately, the ending was completely predictable from the first chapter.

As for the narrator, she's ok -- nothing special, I've heard better, I've heard worse. I do wish she had more range with voices, but not everyone can do that.

    "Very disappointed "

First of all the narrator sounds awful for the story. She sounds as if she smoked a pack a day for 30 years, she made it hard for me to get into the story. after listening to this I found the story to feel like christine just rushed to finish it. There was many repetitive areas and I was so disappointed. the drake sister books are one of my favorite and I feel she didn't finish the sister of the hearts series well at all. it had all the elements to be an amazing story but it was not good at all.. I'll probably never read any of her books again and definitely won't be spending money on another of her audiobooks.

"Ok overall but needs some work on..."

the narrator was ok but I've found that with audio books most of the time the voices used for characters from other books are never the same in later editions.

other than that small nitpicking the story was ok. good way to end their story. although I am curious as to who the source in Russia was that has the masters.

    "Finally!!"

The gang is back together. Viktor Prekinski is undercover as a motorcycle gang enforcer. He is sent to the town of Seahaven to prepare for the ambush and murder of the town's deputy Jackson Devaux. The moment he enters town, he is reunited with his wife, Blythe Daniels. And even though he is still on the job, tracking an international gang leader and pedophile, Evan Shaklagratshof, the brother of the man that kidnapped and tortured Elle Drake, he convinces Blythe, who he hasn't spoken to in five years, to give him another chance at being her husband.

Another complication in their relationship is the fact that Viktor did not come there alone. He has 7 members of his own personal motorcycle gang, Torpedo Ink, with him and 10 more on the way. They are all hoping to start a new life and for Blythe to help them become more human way she did for Viktor. Tensions run high when Viktors club brothers meet his birth brothers the Prekinski's. However a common goal and mission brings the two groups together along with other troubled teens and children to form one great big crazy family; if they survive the battle to keep Jackson and Elle alive.
