"[A] page turner....with...taut writing and [a] plausible vision of the real work of the intelligence community." (Publishers Weekly)
I've always liked spy thrillers but it seemed most I've been reading have written by European authors, mostly British. I'd been wanting to find a good American author to read, came across Vince Flynn and decided to give him a try. Was it the greatest book ever written? No. But, it was an enjoyable listen and I'll read him again, maybe my next listen. The action was fast paced and you wanted to keep listening to hear what was going to happen, isn't that what you want out of a book? It was entertaining!

I like all of of these Vince Flynn books. This was the best of the last few. I really like the narrator as well.

I love Mitch Rapp! Love the narrator and the writing style is so easy to follow. Can't go wrong with any of Flynn's books. All of his books are a must read!

A complicated, easy to follow mystery read by one of my favorite guys. CIA, Secret Service and FBI all involved. Domestic and forign intrigue. Through the assinations, political bad guys, Swiss bankers and hired killers comes a tough, no nonsense, heavy from the CIA and away we go. A must read. It will intimidate you, then let you smile.

If you would like to take a break from the mundane trivia of everyday life and spend a few hours in a make-believe world of action, justice, and retribution, Vince Flynn is your ticket. His good guys are wonderfully good and powerful, the bad guys absolutely despicable, and in the end, justice will always prevail. Recently I started from the beginning of the series and intend to continue to the latest. Those read by George Guidall are thoroughly enjoyable. Those by other readers, not so much. If you like this kind of entertainment, I suggest you do the series. Get to know the characters and their predilections. Take a great trip through the wild, crazy, often violent, but never disappointing world of Mitch Rapp.

Another fine story about righteousness and justice. Yes there is violence and swear words in this book, so if you don't like either, pass on this one.
Otherwise, this book delivers on blistering entertainment and all about "getting the job done" in and efficient and brilliant manner.
I'm a Vince Flynn fan and this one is in the top quartile of Flynn books.
A fine performance by George Guidall to boot!

Another spy novel by Vince Flynn that is filled with intrigue. Mr Flynn does hhis home work and seems to either know or at least understands how to present the material so taht it is believable.
Sometimes he skirts the edges of morality in the action he has his characters take, even in the face or evil itself.
Worth a read.

This is a great book if you like mystery/action books. The character development is good as you really hope that the 'bad guys' get their do and you hope that that good guy prevails. Spys, politics, secret service, CIA, KGB all mixed into a story that is hard to stop listening to. One of those books that you hate to see come to an end. If you want to be lost for several hours and be entertained, I highly recommend this book.

Mitch Rapp is the irreverant, politically incorrect protagonist who you love to see in action, but cringe when it happens. Another of Vince Flynn's fast moving, fly by the seat of your pants action novels. For a Vince Flynn/Mitch Rapp fan, its all you can ask for! Great fast read and well worth your time. If you look at the world through the commons sense, "whats wrong with doing it this way" attitude, then you will love this book. I found myself listening in the garage for a few minutes every time I had to get out of my car.

The Mitch Rapp series is noted for Mitch's devotion to the task of eliminating terrorists. In this book, he finds that on occassion, terrorism can start at home, in the United States, and be fueled by one of the oldest political motives: POWER.

Another 5 star read, loved it as I have with all the others. Great book! Excellent narration by George Guidance.
On to the next Vince Flynn / Mitch Rapp book.
George Guidall continues to do an amazing job narrating these books :) Vince Flynn is phenomenal :) I cannot wait to listen to the next book in the series :)
Having listened to most of Vince Hill books this one must surely rate as one on the best if not the best. Good narration, political intrigue. Excellent storyline and satisfactory ending.
Vince Flynn just keeps getting better! The narrator is always five star. Story just marvellous.
Where does Act of Treason rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Not an in depth book but entertaining
What other book might you compare Act of Treason to, and why?
What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?
As always his performance is excellent
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Any additional comments?
Is far fetched at times but good escapism
If you're looking for deep and thought provoking, this may not be for you! It is however a good ole yarn though. Vince Flynn delivers yet another easy reading action adventure which doesn't make you think too much but entertains none the less! It could do maybe with a more punchy ending but on the whole I'll give it the thumbs up. Does what is says on the tin!
