Publisher's Summary

Fifteen months ago Detective Lindsay Boxer's life was perfect - she had a beautiful child and a doting husband, Joe, who helped her catch a ruthless criminal who'd detonated a bomb in downtown San Francisco, killing 12 people.

But Joe isn't everything that Lindsay thought he was, and she's still reeling from his betrayal as a wave of mysterious and possibly unnatural heart attacks strikes seemingly unrelated victims across San Francisco.

Now the bomber she and Joe captured is about to go on trial, and his defense raises damning questions about Lindsay and Joe's investigation. Not knowing whom to trust, and struggling to accept the truth about the man she thought she knew, Lindsay must connect the dots of a deadly conspiracy before a brilliant criminal puts her on trial.

Very disappointing

I have read or listened to all of the books in this series and this is by far the worst for story, plot and was completely lacking content.

One of the greatest team stories ever

This is a great story. Disturbing, shocking, exciting, and ultimately redeeming. The work of the detectives, the lawyers, the crimes scene experts and the coroners is justified and rightly included. It takes a team and in this case a group of women to take down evil. The triumph of good and justice is edifying and inspiring. The greatest writer of thrillers on the planet has done it again.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Has written

Would you be willing to try another book from James Patterson? Why or why not?

I always buy James Patterson books just because one doesn't quite fit my reading needs doesn't mean the others won't be writes brilliant books

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes it did

Could you see 16th Seduction being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

It might make more sense to me .......... yes

Great book and narrator

James Patterson and Maxine P deliver another cracking story in the Women's Murder Club series.

As usual, the narrator, January LeVoy is excellent.

Disjointed

This book was disappointing. The story starts off well and is engaging, then suddenly it seems to merge into another storyline with no connection to the first. Almost seems like 2 different books. Very disjointed and not enjoyable at all.
