Cup of Tea

I wasn’t a huge fan of the female narration. Also the story was had too much going on for the length of it. Didn’t hate it, it just wasn’t one I would recommend.

Fine for a free book but...

I'll admit, I couldn't finish this title. Maybe it gets better if you can stomach these people for that long. Is this book about a missing boy or a lousy marriage?? After 7 Chapters, the "missing boy" was a passing topic. The focus is on the couple, who seem to despise each other, a husband with a wandering eye and a busty best friend who is UNBEARABLE. None of these characters are relatable and I just can't take anymore. I'm glad it was free.

Maddening, but not in a good way.

This book was ridiculous. From the beginning the husband wanted to believe his wife was guilty. He speaks so unhighly of her throughout that it’s so bothersome that he doesn’t seem to know his wife at all and it’s so unfair that he doesn’t even try to have a conversation with her about his concerns and beliefs, what a horrible partner and marriage. Could hardly finish this book.

Terrible narration

I couldn’t make myself finish the book because of the narrator. The wife’s voice was just terrible. I even tried to speed it up but I just couldn’t do it

What a waste of time!

So many things wrong with this audiobook, where to start?
1. the narrators. they were horrible
2. in Georgia it's an elevator, not a lift. Also, in Georgia we use yards and feet, not meters to measure distance. Who wrote this? a confused Brit?
3. what 13 year old boy stays outside hot & uncomfortable?
4. the only thing I liked was the price, it was free

Please don't asked why I didn't stop listening, I was hoping it would get better.

Toxic

20mins in and i just couldn’t finish the book. So toxic how the husband despises and judges his wife. How he talks so bad of her. Couldn’t do it. Unhealthy. Bad energy
