So satisfying

This was very entertaining and satisfying. I hate to get frustrated during a story and this was not that.

Great performance; Not great writing

It started off promising but for me to enjoy a book, the plot & characterization needs to be strong. Unfortunately, in this vook, the inconsistency in the characters' behaviors and rapid cycling of the nature of their relationships drove me insane. Someone is not going to be a tough as nuts, compentant, intelligent hardened criminal barrister and also have a melt down when the mean girls bullied her. They are not going to let a man she has been dating 6 months shame her for not telling him something about her long deceased father - especially when he literally got got cheating the night before. All that being said, the performance was high quality and easy to listen to.
