Decent book over all

I thought the story line was pretty good in this book. Characters were believable & interesting. narration good too, but I did get confused sometimes with the back & forth method of writing which I wish authors would use less & the tendency to write in text short language I find annoying. Otherwise not bad, Liked the ending.

The character development led the story.

I enjoyed the way the plot unfolded through the characters. The descriptions of the emotions the characters were feeling seemed real and authentic. Great read!!

Good story, stupid girl..

Story line was good and I liked the interaction between characters.
I found myself shaking my head at the stupidity of our main character not too smart in lots of scenes.

Good novel but trigger alert regarding rape. Yet it's very much worth listening to. It does not have over the top gratuitous violence, has interesting and believable characters. Not a five star because the pace was a bit slow.

Beautiful characters

The story addresses a difficult subject matter in a straightforward, sensitive manner. The author built the romantic relationship between the protagonists slowly but inexorably. This novel has a lot of heart behind it. Bravo.

I liked the book a lot. It was mostly clean and seemed raw and honest. I did not expect the twist at the end.
