Twas a good listen

The story is great. Not a fan of the female voices but beggars can't be choosers.

fun little book here. great story and mechanics so far in book one. will keep with the series. worth the credit.

Quick Book

This was pretty good. I thought it was hilarious. I really like how they keep building on the story. It’s him logging into a video game and playing. No SOA. No isekai.

Overall Good

I enjoyed it, I could say it was one of the better LitRPG books. I found that it was good, but still think that it needed a bit more stronger on the side of being willing to kill people. An ex-gangster is unwilling to kill people to move ahead in a game is bit unreal to me. Let's see how the next one goes.

Great Story line

I really liked the story line and am looking forward to listening to the other books in the series. The one thing I didn’t care for was some of the language. I realize online gamers swear quite a bit(being one myself) but I found it unnecessarily harsh for this type of book. Fantastic overall story though, I wish you could make money on video games this easily in the real world!

The curse is broken

so as a rule of thumb, Nick Pohdel has been given many audio books that have just sucked. so for a long time I avoided his work like the plague. not because he is bad at his job, he's quite talented, but the scripts he was given just made you want to hit your head against a wall.

this book is solid, but not extraordinary. the reader is good and it does a good job feeding the listener information without having to slow down the pace.

would recommend to a friend.
