I purchased to listen to the AI Virtual reader This is not the first Virtual Reader I purchased for that Reason.
There is a slow steady improvement in the quality of AI reading audiobooks. They have a long way to go but the rate of improvement in steady.
Vocal inflection, character distinctions and using punctuation as a reading tool will improve.
This is very much a part of the AI progression.
It has pros and cons but AI readers is inevitable.
