Phenomenal! Waiting patiently for #7 “Swift Judgement.” PLEASE continue to write about these well-developed characters that I feel like I know and are so relatable. All of the Michigan references are great! Keep writing and I’ll keep buying!

Two Good

Can’t decide which I like best. Stagg’s writing or Newbern’s narration. Waiting impatiently for more.

This was a good listen just like the other 5 . I personally still think the first book was the best.

Loved it

Big fan of the Nate Shepherd series. This one is another good story with great narration.

A great continuation of the series

I really enjoy the Nate Shepherd series. Stagg has developed some great characters that thread through the series, but also introduces new and interesting characters in each book. I like the fact that each book stands on its own and that you don't have to read (or remember) all of the preceding books in the series to catch on. The narrator is very good, doing the voices quite well, though there a lot of very happy-go-lucky characters to judge by their voices.

This series just keeps getting better

This installment might be my favorite in the series. Murder situation very interesting, new lady in Nate's life, new member of the staff and charcter very likeable., Also for the first time, I wasn't sure of the outcome of the trial.

Excxellent original story.

Overall a really excxellent book; as an attorney I especially liked the courtroom scenes which were, overall, accurate and realistic. I only had one disappointment; at the end Nate acted cowardly -- it might have been good for the story and realisticc, it's just that I would have expected more of this fictional character who is so steadfast in representing clients. An easy 5* all the way around.
