Legal drama that’s accurately told

I’ve listened to this entire series and Michael Stagg and Nate Shepherd never fail. Fast-paced legal thrillers often struggle with accurately portraying the rules of evidence and courtroom drama. That’s not the case here! George Newbern is terrific in his storytelling and inflection. (He was also pretty good in Adventures In Babysitting!)

Great series!

I have really enjoyed the Nate Shepherd series and hope there are more to come. Very likable characters and interesting cases/trials. The narrator is perfect!!

Every Nate Shepard book gets better!

I absolutely love this series. I savor these books and I can’t wait for the next one! This is my favorite writer of all time and the absolute best narrator of all time!

Another excellent book

Excellent story. I always enjoy legal and courtroom drama books. Michael Stagg is an excellent author and presents these stories that seem to be so true to life.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of his Nate Shepherd novels. Narrator also did an excellent job. We all know how important a good narrator is to the success of a book.
