Solid Advice and Easy to Follow


This book has so much great information for those of us who need it. I found the book packed with just the kind of directions I need to be following.

It’s good to know that the book is written by an actual certified personal trainer and dietician. I am comfortable knowing that the author knows what she is talking about. I particularly love the information on intuitive fasting and eating. I think this information will benefit me the most.

I highly recommend this for to anyone who is looking for in depth guidance on becoming fit and eating in a way that is best for you.

Ideal Book to Get Toned While You Lose Weight

Lose Weight Get Toned is timely as many seek a way to lose and keep weight off. Many think exercises with fast repetitions that burn more calories are the best type of exercise, but the slower movement of strength training also burns a significant amount of calories. The added benefit is that you don't lose muscle mass. This audiobook is well-organized and easy to follow. The author includes definitions and types of strength training, as well. The author is a Dietitian and shares nutrition information for strength training that is also helpful for a complete program. As a personal trainer, the author ensures safety is part of the exercises selected that helps one to feel more comfortable using them. I like the option given by the author of developing your routine that gives flexibility in exercise selection. With all the benefits of strength training, I recommend this audiobook for anyone seeking to get toned and/or lose weight with a sustainable program that will also build confidence.

Lose weight by becoming strong

As a woman in my 60s who's been on a weight loss journey for a few years now, I truly appreciated this book and the professional advice given by Jannah Adams. Too often we focus on diets hoping that we can achieve a slim and toned body by restricting the foods we eat. However, a more holistic approach that shows overall health benefits is presented in this book proving that regular exercise, especially strength training, plays a crucial role in shedding excess weight and should be a part of everyone's weight loss routine.
The writing style is clear and concise and the narration compliments the content making it easy to understand and follow even for people like me - English is not my first language. It makes it easy to grasp the concepts and implement the exercises in anyone's daily routine. And 15 min is all you need! In today's busy world finding time to exercise may be difficult for some people. Some will use it as an excuse for not exercising! This book makes it easy to avoid all excuses. I highly recommend it to any busy person who needs to lose weight and improve their health!
