YAY!!! Narration by Zara Ramm! WONDERFUL! Elizabeth Cage and Michael Jones are back! And what a crazy ride it is! This book had lots of twists and turns. I heard there will be a book four! I can't wait! Will try to be patient!

Witty repartee getting a bit old…

I love Jodi Taylor. I’ll start there. I love the St Mary’s Chronicles especially.
The first book of this series was unusually dark given the author, and I almost didn’t order the second book. In the end, however, I did and was glad, because it took an upturn and was a better book than the first. So of course I was looking forward to this, the third book.

Overall it’s quite good. Narration is excellent, as before. But in places the dialogue between Elizabeth and Michael in Long Shadows has gone just a bit too far over into romantic comedy silliness. If not for that one small flaw, I’d give it all 5 stars.

Was over too fast!

I had this in pre order for months… listened to it the first day I got it… loved it!!!! Now I have to wait probably another year for another!!😭
Actually, I really did love this book ! It wrapped up many story lines .. yet left it wide open for more enjoyment to come! I have to say too, there were things revealed that I didn’t see coming.. I even went back and relistened to book 1&2. .. this time having the knowledge of what was to come! I still found myself thinking that Jodi Taylor does a great job of foreshadowing without being obvious of future story lines

Oh.. and Zara Ramm narrating, it goes unsaid that she makes the story come to life even THAT much better! Zara Ramm knows how Jodi Taylor writes… she brings out the humor! It is amazing how a ‘ perfect fit’ narrator can do this!

Hope she continues the series

Loved this book. Left me wanting more as usual. I find Jodie Taylor amazing. I don’t know how she does it over and over again. I know it’s a little formulaic but enjoyable and fun. Just like all her other books only a little darker. Hope you enjoy it to

What??

I can’t believe I listened to three books for this ending. Totally unsatisfactory. There are many unanswered questions and to find out that your main character is not real is an incredibly cheap shot in my opinion.
It was pretty good until then.

Frankly can’t go wrong with anything Jodi Taylor writes- she is fabulous and so are her books.
Each Elizabeth Cage book gets better and better.
Do yourself a favor and also read “The Chronicles of St. Mary’s” & the nee Time Police series.

Once againshe bring us Elizabeth Cage in her perfect nonconformity with lots of laughs, Trimbles, and courage along the with many good old friends to share in th excitement. Jodi never disappoints!!

Jodi Taylor has outdone herself again and Zara Ramm brings the story to life! Fantastic duo!

The story was interesting, but very sad.

The scenes of death and destruction were very vivid, and too long. The book took an unexpected turn and I'm not sureI like it. I hope this isn't the last book in the series.
