Just the right mixture of reality and the paranormal. The twists and turns of this book leaves you wanting more of the same in future books by her.

The story was interesting, but very sad.

The scenes of death and destruction were very vivid, and too long. The book took an unexpected turn and I'm not sureI like it. I hope this isn't the last book in the series.
