Jason and Vanessa have returned with a case that will test their faith and their partnership.
The homeless of San Antonio are dying, but apparently from natural causes. Captain Patton is ordered to make sure these cases are not homicide, so he gets with Lieutenant Banks, and requests her best detectives.
Jason will end up doing something that tests his wife's strength while Vanessa will have to pass a test of her own.
Who will survive and who won't?
And who will get a dose of Lethal Injection?

Would you listen to Lethal Injection again? Why?
I would listen to lethal Injection again because it was so entertaining and short, only a few hours. The narrator gave it that mystic quality that the old radio stories had. What other book might you compare Lethal Injection to and why?
This book was similar to other Detective Jason Strong books and I have liked all of his stories.Have you listened to any of Joshua Bennington’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to a few other books narrated by Joshua Bennington and have liked them all. He brings the characters to life with his different voices for each character.Any additional comments?
I did not give this book a 5 star rating only because it was very much like the other Jason Strong books I have read or heard. I did give the narrator a 5 star rating because he made the audio book out standing..A detective thriller story

Would you listen to Lethal Injection again? Why?
Yes! The Narration by Joshua Bennington was at least as good as the story. It took me back to the early 50s, when I was reading "I the jury" by Mickey Spillane. What was one of the most memorable moments of Lethal Injection?
Of course, When the detective was under cover and got injected.Listening to Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer

What did you like best about Lethal Injection? What did you like least?
Fair story. Narrator was just NOT Jason. What was most disappointing about John C. Dalglish’s story?
Why in the world did the author change narrators? I listened to the last four and came to hear the narrator as THE Jason Strong. The change is rather jarring and I just couldn't get into it. Reminded me of the time the Travis MacGee series changed narrators. Yuk!What does Joshua Bennington bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Nothing against Mr. Bennington. Some people seem to like him. But listen to the sample first if you are a fan of the series. It's just not the same. Was Lethal Injection worth the listening time?

When you find a good narrator for a series...stick with him.Very Disappointed

Members of the homeless community are dying at much too rapid pace to be natural, yet they do seem to be natural causes. It seems that succinylcholine, a paralytic of both voluntary and involuntary muscles that is difficult to find in blood samples because it breaks down quickly, may be being used to murder them. Detective Strong goes undercover to find the murderer. Author Dalgish uses several narrators for books in this series. Joshua Bennington is not one of the better ones.
Suggestion to authors: find a good...

Would you consider the audio edition of Lethal Injection to be better than the print version?
YES...the audio book was much more entertaining. The narrator gave the characters more life and the story took on more charm. What other book might you compare Lethal Injection to and why?
The other books that come to mind would be "For My Brother" and "Cruel Deception" all done by the same reader.Which character – as performed by Joshua Bennington – was your favorite?
I liked all the characters as preformed by Mr. Bennington. No one stands out in my mind but as a group they were all done well. They seems to each have their own personality.Any additional comments?
I loved this book as well as most of John Dalglish's books. The narrator also did a great job with the characters.Detective Story with a Message
