This book can be listened to as a stand-alone novel.

The body of a young woman is found tossed like trash on the side of the interstate. In their search for the killer, Jason and Vanessa are thrown into the unfamiliar world of big rigs and over-the-road truckers. Another great murder mystery

This is another entertaining detective story in the Jason Strong series. Jason and Vanessa are great characters with well developed personalities that compliment each other well. The intricacies of their live weave from one book to another and yet each story is easily read as a stand-alone. The storyline in this audiobook keeps your attention with multiple murders, a serial killer, suspense, good investigative work and characters you love. The narrator does an excellent job, he keeps the voices consistent from one book to the next and brings out the tension, worry, camaraderie and humor in the story. I will look forward to the next in the series.
