Another Cherise Sinclair winner

I fell in love with Cherise's stories several years ago and she has never disappointed me. When my eyesight started giving me problems, I gradually added her audiobooks to my library since these are books that I will want to listen to again and again. This story contains surprises, harmful rumors only started to hurt and destroy someone, danger, family love, accepting responsibilities, healing heartbreak, giving love a chance and hot erotic love scenes. JJ is a strong woman who has fled a harmful past. In order not to suffer anymore heartbreak Caz has lead a single life. I love how the author brings two people into his life to bring his heart back to life. She also makes JJ realize that a family doesn't have to be blood related. I must admit that the climax caught me off guard since I thought that 2 others might cause the problem. You got me Cherise!

The narrators nailed their performances. They made the listener experience the emotions of these characters and gave them distinctive voices. Jenna St Clair gave JJ a strong and at times a vulnerable voice. Gunnar Qualen gave Caz a dominant and compassionate voice. Gunnar's accent that he gave Caz was very sexy. I love their duet narration. These two are extremely talented voice artists. They held my attention throughout the entire story. I highly recommend this Audible book. You will love it.

Great book, inadequately read

The book as always is fantastic. The reading took away from the book greatly. The male lead sounded like he should be reading book down south as all the characters had the wrong accent and intonation. Totally painful to listen to.

I’m in love with Caz!

This Audible was fantastic! Cazador and JJ’s adventures and romance are so worth a credit to listen. Utterly in love with this character, and his brothers.

I loved this story..

I thoroughly enjoyed the story of JJ and Caz. It was slow and building, a bit suspenseful, and sexy as all get out.

After suffering from the latest round of sexist behavior and lack of back up from her fellow officers, JJ has the opportunity to move to Alaska where she an start new and hopefully find a place she belongs that values her and makes her part of the community. Maybe Rescue, Alaska is the answer.
Caz loves his brothers and that’s all he needs in life. His brothers, living up to Macko’s mission, and loving the ladies. Taking care of women and children is not in the cards for his life. How interesting is it when he finds both will need him as much as he needs them.

So far, Caz will be my favorite brother. Sure his accent is sexy as hell, but he is the most stable and balanced person I’ve ever known. He likes to talk things out, express his needs and demands, and is extremely protective of those he loves. Watching him and JJ dance around their attraction only to eventually give in was beautiful to see. It was the same way with Caz and Regan. That little girl could melt the hearts of anyone she encounters....and she does. Seeing them all come together with his brothers and Audrey made for a very engaging story where you couldn’t help but wish the best for all involved.

The narration really brought the story to life. With the exception of Hawk and Bull’s voice, the voices match the character and you can truly get lost in the story being told.

This story shattered my heart

And pieced it back together one chard at the time.
Although not her usual BDSM club environment, Cherise Sinclair has created a wonderful community around a strong men and the women who bring them to their knees and make them even stronger.
Lethal Balance continues with the next son of the survivalist. Cas doesn’t want to love a woman and by the end of the books he’ll have two special girls in his life.
Very nice narrators, too!
