Publisher's Summary

Great workbook with 60+ fun drills and a 200-word vocabulary!

This didactic workbook in easy Spanish is based on Don Quixote by the Spanish author, Miguel de Cervantes (1900-1944), translated, edited, and simplified to ease practice and comprehension using simple wording, brief sentences, moderate vocabulary, and entertaining exercises! Especially written in simple, easy Spanish for experienced beginning and low-intermediate students, each chapter is followed by a glossary of Spanish words and expressions and their respective English translations, as well as by fun and simple exercises especially designed to increase the student´s comprehension and vocabulary based on the understanding that reading is "a complex, active process of constructing meaning" instead of "mere skill application".

Increase your vocabulary and comprehension.

The main purpose of the present series of workbooks is to provide simple practice and guarantee the development of comprehension by offering adequate resources and exercises especially designed to increase the understanding of Spanish as a second language. After all, as both research and personal experience shows, listening without comprehension is both frustrating as well as useless.

Please note: Parts of this audiobook are in Spanish.

Having taught other languages before, I appreciate the systematic and thorough approach of this book. I bought the digital version and enjoy that I can do exercises and just click to find the keys. Highly recommended.

great way to learning

Easy to use to self study Spanish. We are using it as part of a home school curriculum. My daughter finds it easy to understand and navigate. She is in 11th grade. As a parent who learned Spanish in high school and college, I find it an excellent review on those rules that you may not remember.

I would recommend this to learners because it really does help speed up the process of learning the language, and it also teaches one how to better teach him or herself.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was easy to read and an exciting, gripping story. I'm at that intermediate stage in Spanish where I'm trying to increase vocabulary, idioms, and grammar. While listtening this was rather easy and taught me a lot, I'm still not quite confident enough to attempt to express these thoughts in Spanish.

I highly recommend this book
