Surprise Gem!

So this one took me a bit, I found the beginning confusing, as the plot took a different turn as far as characters go. That being said, once I got into it, I LOVED it! I absolutely need more of this world and these characters. Worth the credit!

I love the female main character. she is strong and make sacrifices for the greater good that will break your heart. despite having very little power of her own she becomes a powerful influence in the community. she is definitely someone that I would strive to be more like. the men in her life who would like to be a part of it may leave a lot to be desired but hopefully they will get their s*** together and be the partners that she needs. ends on a cliffhanger be prepared to scream and cry at the end of the book. I wish it was in duet but both narrator still did a great job.
