Absolutely fantastic!

Not only is this book next level good, heartwarming, and flawless; the narrators are perfect! Absolutely loved the journey of Riley and her men. Starts off heartbreaking and you can feel for her so much. Then it heals you and makes you feel pure satisfaction. The spice is also on point. Don’t pass this one by!

Precious!

I love Riley and her guys! Cove is precious, and I honestly am so happily surprised with how adorable her narration was! I loved this story as a book and as with Jillian’s other books, it adds more so much more with the narration! Looking forward to what’s next

Sweet with minimal angst

I adored this book. Riley has been seriously down on her luck. She lost her brother and is handling two little ones all on her own. When she gets snowed onto an island a group of alphas step up to help her. Discovering she is their match in every way and her sweet little ones are to cute not to love. They give Riley everything she should have had from the start. I loved the evolution of their relationship. The audio book is great. The accents are spot on. I enjoyed hearing the characters come to life.

Everything I love about omegaverse.

This is my go to recommendation when friends want to try the genre. I was so excited to see it in audio. It was done exceedingly well.

Great second chance at love story

I had no idea that this story tied into the Ruined records duet and I’m so stoked to get to see more side characters in this universe. Riley is such a badass during the entire story and I loved seeing her learn to trust again. Way to pull at my heartstrings JW! The instant family dynamic between all the characters was absolutely amazing. I normally have a favorite MMC but with this story I love them all and they mesh with Riley so well in different ways. I can’t wait for the next group of characters from this world.

Single Mom Why Choose romance

While this is a spin-off of Jillian West’s Ruined Records duet – I haven’t read that and did just fine. But, of course, now I’m going to go read those. 12/31/2022 Note: I read the Ruined Records duet, then read this again. I do think there’s some people & events that make even more sense having that as a foundation. (The epilogues specifically pack a bigger punch) However, I still feel this stands well completely on it’s own.

This is an absolutely delightful book. I love single parent books and the guys swooping right in to adore on not only Riley, but her daughters, was swoon worthy. Holiday theme spanning Thanksgiving & Christmas, bit of forced proximity, fun banter, cute kid, sexy times (one-on-one and a few MFM scenes). While there’s a little angst, it’s mostly from the situation surrounding Riley’s ex. For the most part – Cannon, Finn, Killian, & eventually Jasper get to know Riley and evolve into their own pack.

West did a terrific job of creating distinct & consistent characters. I always knew whose perspective it was which made it so easy to fall into this story. Epilogues! Plural! I love them and West delivered.

Narration:
I enjoyed this when I read it last year – but the narration is brilliant. Vanessa Moyen and Michael Gallagher give each of the characters their own unique sound and mannerisms matching West’s writing. Plus their performances compliment each other perfectly.

Content Warnings:
West has a comprehensive list at the beginning of the book. Be sure to check that out. While overall the book was fairly light, there were some heavy subjects touched on.

Production note:
Chapter 5 at the 8:00 minute make, can hear the book's intro lightly replaying in background along with regular performance.

Slow moving

The storyline was interesting; loved the dynamics between the Alpha’s and the children; however, it was a bit slow and dry with Riley and the fellas; a bit syrupy. Narrators did a great job.

Beautiful story!

This book was an introduction to the omega verse for me and im sold! Really enjoyed it and the performance was really good. Single mom and why choose.

storyline is excellent!! narration is solid. characters actually communicate with each other, instead of ending up in some bumbling mess.
