Publisher's summary

What do you do when three hot, possessive ghosts want to jump your bones?

I'm Bree, and I see dead people. Not all dead people. Only those with unfinished business. They're everywhere—I'll be eating my breakfast, and a poisoned heiress glares over my Cheerios. I can't even enjoy the wilderness without being accosted by chattering ex-hikers who don't understand which mushrooms are edible.

I've returned to my hometown of Grimdale to cat-sit for my parents while I plan my next move. I'm looking forward to raiding their fridge, hanging out with their two mischievous kittens, and staying far, far away from anything supernatural.

But I forgot that I'm never alone in Grimdale. The three ghosts I used to play with as a kid are back in my life again. Only now I'm their age, and they're infuriatingly attractive.

There's the slightly psychotic Roman soldier who loves the Great British Bake Off, the bossy, aristocratic royal prince who demands the finer things in life (er, death), and the blind Victorian gentleman adventurer who doesn't have a mean bone in his body (or any bones, for that matter).

My three ghoulish houseguests are the least of my problems. I've landed a job giving tours of the historic Grimdale Cemetery, and on my very first day, I stumble into a fresh corpse. The dead guy's ghost needs me to solve his murder so he can cross over, but sticking my nose into spirit business might see me to an early grave.

As for my three hauntingly hot friends? It turns out their unfinished business… is me.

You're So Dead to Me is the first in a darkly humorous paranormal romance series by bestselling author Steffanie Holmes. If you love a sarcastic heroine, hot, possessive, and slightly unhinged ghostly men, a mystery to solve, and a little kooky, spooky lovin' to set your coffin a rockin', then quit ghouling around and start listening!

THREE GHOSTS TO LOVE ❤️❤️❤️

It was amazing! The three ghosts had so much personality and were so good to Bre that it made my heart swell! The story and plot were perfect and it was great to listen to while playing House Flipper.

the voices were a total turn off

the voices/accents the male narraror used really ruined the book for me. I could only tolerate it for about an hour before I gave up on the audio and went back to my kindle. sometimes the accents were so muddy I couldn't understand who was talking or what they were saying. I had no real qualms with the female narrator but he really took away from the story.

Fun and quirky

I love Steffanie Holmes’ stories! This one was a blast! Great characters and the story kept me guessing as to what would happen next. Love the crossover with the Nevermore characters. The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing the story to life.

good but she's annoying.

I really do like the story but holy hell the fmc is just annoying. because of how she was, was the reason I only gave it 4 stars. the nonstop "we shouldn't", or just constant negative. the constant whining! I also don't understand how the ghosts been ghosts for hundreds of years & it's like they stayed in the attic their whole time as ghosts to not learn as time goes by. I can understand still being part of from when they died & part of what they learned along with way of being ghosts of how life is for the living but they don't. it's like they don't understand about the living people today on how people act now. I know so far I've said negative but she really got to me how annoying the fmc was. again I would of loved it 100% if she wasn't like that. everything else was good.

Fantastic plot!

Love love love this new series! I’ve already preordered the next one! Narration is on point; brilliant mix of humor, heat, mystery, paranormal, sweet, and sad.

Liked, but not loved

Overall, I liked the story. I've listened to a few books by this author and I like the universe she's created. But I wasn't a fan of the male accents. They were exaggerated and grating and took away some of the likeability for the characters.

Wishy Washy

Bree has had enough courage to travel the world for years by herself and yet she still acts like an insecure teenager. Instead of the strong and sassy woman I was led to believe she is, she is racked with insecurities and won't allow herself to be happy. She worries that people think she's weird and in general acts as if she was still in high school. The maturity I would expect from someone who had spent years on her own is definitely not present. She also emotionally hurts and rejects her guys at every turn, making it seem like just because they are dead they don't deserve feelings. Or, that their feelings don't matter.

Another thing, she doesn't believe in magic! WTF!!!! She sees ghosts and yet the idea of magic is WAAAAYYYYY out there. Are you kidding me?!?!?!
