Fantastic delivery by Lithgow

John Lithgow's narration is so fun to listen to; my 5- and 3-yr-olds ask to hear this Dr. Suess one over and over...they repeat some of his more dramatic lines. One of the best children's stories we've gotten from Audible.

Buyer, Beware! No "Other Sories" Included

Although my 3 1/2-year-old grandson loves this story and will doubtless listen countless more times, we were both disappointed that only the title story is included in this recording. Why not just have the narrator go ahead and read the other stories in the book also, since it would only have taken a few additional minutes of studio time? The absence of Gertrude McFuzz (Dr. Seuss's thinly veiled critique of plastic surgery and a relatively unknown treasure among the author's oeuvre) is an especially grievous disappointment.

Ordered for Grandson 3 and 1/2 years old

Any additional comments?

My grandson (age 3 1/2) loves to listen to my Kindle. He loves Yertle and other Dr. Seuss stories and will listen over and over again.

Love it!

Great message about everyone's value. My children ask to listen to it often. One of my favorites as well.
