Publisher's Summary

Devin Walker, drummer for The Prototype, has one priority: turning his alt-soul band into the superstar act it's destined to become. Singularly focused on his music, his creative passion is all-consuming - that is, until he crosses paths with his best friend's college roommate, Willow Harden.

Willow was drawn to Devin from the moment she first saw him. And when Devin does, finally look Willow's way, she's easily seduced from her protective bubble into the lure of his fast-paced ambitions, though at times, she wonders if she can handle it.

Unable to resist their potent chemistry, Devin and Willow free fall into a relationship that makes them question each other and doubt themselves. Devin knows he should probably leave her alone; Willow knows life for her might not be any good without him. Can they possibly make their love work? And if so, at what cost?

Excellent sequel

I have enjoyed each of the books in the prototype series. The character development and storyline was excellent in this book as in the others. Can’t wait for book 4!
Great job!

The best of the Prototype series❤️

I absolutely loved this book. This is by far for me the best of the series. Granted all of them are great and I just loved them all; however, ‘Keeping Willow’ let’s just say. stole my heart. The story had a magnetic energy. It was so easy to connect with the characters. And I loved how we were able to still know what was going on with Jersey and Kennedy. I liked the way the social justice components were weaved into the words and the passion. The reading of it was just excellent, absolutely amazing!

I love Devin and Willow so much!

I love Devin so much. So much. He is to me what Bam is to many of my reader friends. And I love Willow so much, too. This series lives in my mind rent free - cannot say enough about how moving, trauma-informed, and healing Howard's writing is! Gorgeous and poetic! And Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem?! EVERYTHING. #Weskobi
Love, love, LOVE this story, series, and narration!

Devin and Willow

Great read although I’m not a fan of books that go back and forth between present and past but this wasn’t bad at all. It all jelled together and in the end the back story was needed in this case. Devin sometimes grated on my nerve how he couldn’t understand Willow and why certain things bothered her. He had a lot going but she had internal things going on as well he didn’t do well with understanding. I’m just glad they got it together. On to Book 4!
