Struck by the tragedy of her father’s murder, Carmen Wellington is faced with the tough decision of keeping her life away from home or coming back to her hometown to support her little brother through his senior year of high school. It’s a decision that will change her life in more ways than one, especially with her brother’s handsome basketball coach in the picture.

Carmen is supposed to be focused on what’s best for her and her family. Nasir is supposed to be focused on what’s best for him and his team. But with those two worlds colliding and an undeniable attraction developing because of it, the two can only hope for more wins than losses....

Wesleigh Makes This Story!

The story was good on it’s own; however that Wesleigh Siobhan? WHEEEEEEWWWWW! Always a pleasure to hear her; she made this a REALLY great listening experience.

Good real life story

This was a good story; portrayed relatable events that can and do occur. The struggles related to unpleasant life situations. Narrators did a good job with characters.

Great storyline

enjoyed the story but some of the language was distracting. the over use of racial slurs regardless of who is using them is unacceptable and takes away from the story.

Really good book

She is an amazing Author the stories are awesome with relative characters! Can’t wait to read the next

Loved this book so much! Nas supported Carmen so well!!! Such a beautiful couple! Sad beginning with a very happy ending.
