Thrilling WWII sniper story

This is an exciting, fast paced story of WWII sniper, Cole, as he and the allies push the retreating Germans back across France towards the end of the war. There is lots of action and tension in this story and you get the feel of what it is like to be the hunter and the hunted. The narrator did an excellent job of showing the excitement and tension and giving the characters their own voices. Even though it is the 3rd book in the series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone.

The hillbilly sniper is back

Fans of WW2, sniper battles, war of the rats and such will enjoy this series. Our hero is a hillbilly sniper that will remind you of a bit of sergeant York. This installment finds Cole and Dicarro squaring off against another nazi sniper in the field of France as the allies advance. This time the sniper duels will be filled with traps and decoys galore and some advanced sniper rifles. Will coke finally meet his match or does the hillbilly still reign supreme. Find out in this awesome WW2 thriller. Well written and well narrated will keep you on the edge of your seat as the scopes line up. “Sh*t in one hand and wish in the other and see which fills up first”

Brilliant WW2 sniper take. Great characters, great storyline; just a thoroughly enjoyable listen! Scott does a great job as narrator, with really distinguishable voices and great pacing. This has been one of my favourite set of books and really easy to listen too. This book is set between book 1 and 2, but is also enjoyable as a stand-alone novel. Really hope there’s more to come! I listened at x1.5 speed. This is my honest opinion of a free review copy.
