Spicy Vampire Romance

This was a fun distraction with a tease of Why Choose due the the situation with the main male character. Voshki is my favorite of the pairing, very direct, knows what he wants and will burn the world down for it. Faye and Rune, go back and forth a lot on what they want. A bit of repetition. This is heavy on the romance and the spice, there's a tease of worldbuilding and magic systems.
Things I really enjoyed: Sparrow and her man. (I didn't love the nicknames the sisters constantly called each other). Often times the main FMC looses her friends/life before and I thought it was well done how they remained staples through each section of the story. Hades/Persephone retelling vibes.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrators were fantastic.

This audiobook has to be hands down my favorite. I loved the dual narration and the way the narrators pull you in. Ughhhh amazing 10/10!

The story was very hades and persephone for sure with a dark twist.. decent story line and character development but the narrators were soooo good..
