Gerard Doyle is an excellent narrator.

I read this book years ago. This is my favorite book of the series by far. I’m very glad I decided to listen to this Audible. Gerard Doyle is an exceptional narrator. He took an already fantastic story to a cinematic level. He used multiple voices to make the reading a much more immersive experience. He clearly is passionate about his work. I would listen to him read the ingredients from a can a soup.

My thoughts and emotions very much matched Eragon's during the final chapter. What an amazing book and what an amazing journey. I love book series where you can look back at the first chapter of the first book and think "wow, we have come far!" You definitely get that here. Inheritance is long but every chapter is precious. The characters are amazing. The world is so lively. It jumps off the page! The performance is also TOP NOTCH. Gerard Doyle has outdone himself on this final installment. Would not have it changed. My only regret is that I don't get to spend more time with adult, fully-realized, mature Eragon. The last chapter had me in tears. 10/10 will read again.
