just wow

I enjoyed this book immensely, the story was riveting, truly enjoyed Roran's storyline and the ending was well done!! The entire series is a must read/listen to!! The only issue I had with the performance throughout the series was the voice acting for the dragons (with the exception of Fernin!) not sure if having seen the Eragon movie had something to do with it.

Legendary Series

Amazing story, one of my all time favorite series. Perfect? No, but perfection is and beauty happens only rarely. To focus on the flaws is to completely miss the point.

Best Book Series of all Time

Absolutely fantastic final edition to my favorite book series ever. I’ve read these books multiple times and now just finished the audible version of all of them. Incredible performance by the narrator as well. Yea, the dragon voices take some getting used to and definitely do not match what I envisioned as a kid reading these books, but he more than makes up with it by the life and personality he (in addition to excellent writing) is able to help bring these characters and the world. The book itself drips with care and love from Christopher Paolini and it’s clear in almost every page. I have always, and still do, appreciated the amount of time spent after Galbatorix’s death. It is refreshing to see an author take the time to wrap of many of the story elements introduced and show how the world is better for what the heroes have done. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic.

Amazing audio book, Lack luster Narrator.

Just about everything about this entire Audio book series is exactly what I look for in Audible's collection. to keep it short and sweet, Gerard Doyle is more or less a good Narrator. He, however, lacks strong voice acting skills. Some of the Characters he voices sound pretty iffy and/or redundant. Not that big of a problem really, and kudos to Mr. Doyle for his full narration of this four book series.👏👏👏👏
