we've finally found something that Roarke can't do! it includes fire & had me laughing! that's one of my favorite things about these books, the unexpected laughter here & there!

Loved it from the start. Always like the prelude to each story something to ponder on while reading as well as title.

One of my favorites. As always, Peabody is the best character in the series. Am loving following her and McNabb’s relationship.

Copycat killer

It’s the end of summer in NYC 2060 and Eve Dallas and Peabody get called to a gruesome murder scene. Someone is recreating murders by serial killers. Beginning with a piece of expensive stationary left at the scene, the hunt is on to whittle down the list of potential suspects. Eve puts Peabody up for the Detective Exam, which freaks Peabody out. Roarke gets involved again assisting the NYPD and enjoys the role. Meanwhile, Eve is having dreams in which she is remembering a little bit about her mother for the first time, realizing she wasn’t loved by her. Luckily, Roarke is there to give support. I enjoyed the end of this audiobook, and I won’t tell what’s happening there. Narration was great!

great mystery thriller with history elements

very good story in a series of excellent books. love the cop case mystery thriller feel. some historical murder cases references. nice.

Great story by Robb & Performance by Ericksen.

Robb does it again with intriguing story and fantastic characters. And Ericksen was brilliant as the narrator

A perp imitating serial killers pits himself against Dallas.
Peabody signs a lease with MacNab in Eve’s old building and takes the Detective test.
Meanwhile, Roarke has mixed results with an Ultra Mega grill following a BBQ at the Mira’s.
My favorite quote is from Eve to Nadine: ”bring the donuts; leave the camera”.
Ericksen does a great job of narration.
