Slow start

This one had sort of a slow start but as usual it had a great ending. Can’t say enough about the excellent narration.

Another great book in the series. Different twist to this story and very enjoyable! I am ready for the next book!

Strangers is A-1!!

You would think, after reading the previous 25 books in the series I would be tire of Eve Dallas and Roarke. There you would be wrong. Strangers in Death is just as fresh and interesting. J. D. Robb's main characters stay true from book 1 to book 26. I love that Eve has grown over the years. She is a strong woman make even stronger by the relationships she has been roped into. Eve and her husband "Ace" Roarke's marriage grows richer with book.The plot is one of J. D. Robb's best yet. I'm looking forward to the next 15 or so books. Susan Ericksen is an amazing narrator. Nothing gets by Eve Dallas and her team! The narrator of this series is absolutely the best! She does such a great job with characters and individual voices that you never need the story to tell you who’s speaking.

Another Excellent Eve Dallas Mystery

I love the Eve Dallas/Roark novels. The characters are great and the mysteries are always well plotted. I like to read them as well as listen to them. Susan Erickson is perfect as Eve and wonderful as Roark with his Irish accent.

It's a solid example of the story and pacing of all the "In Death" series books.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Eve, of course. She and Roarke are wonderful characters.

Polished, interesting, lively

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really, but I thought the suspect interviews at the end were very well done.

Love JD Robb's "In Death"Series. Susan Ericksen.does a great job performing the story, differentiating the characters. Glad the publisher has kept her consistent voice throughout the series.

As usual another excellent JD ROBB book!!

When Lt. Eve Dallas is sent to the scene of a very sexual murder case. She is positive that the wife did it she just has to figure how she did it. In the meantime Baxter has a murder that has gone cold and it didn't follow the same pattern as hers but eventually Eve figures out that they are connected.
I loved getting an update on Charles and Louise and that Charles finally see the light and quits being a LLC, changes his profession and asks Louise to marry him.

Eve rocks!!!

Stepping into the world of J.D. Robb and meeting Eve is always a pleasure that never gets old and hearing her and Roarke interact, makes the trip even more enjoyable! Rock on, Eve, rock on!
