Terrific..as usual

I loved it. Listening to Susan Ericksen narrate is almost as good as watching a movie! She has brought Robb's characters to life for me. I always thought that using my imagination when I did my own reading would be much better than having the novel read to me.That has generally been proven to be correct other than when one of Robb's books is released. MacNab didn't have a big part in this one and I sort of missed his character. I've been looking forward to the release date of this latest episode and now I have already been to the Robb website to find out when the next one can be expected. I highly recommend this series written by Robb if you like mystery and adventure. I also can honestly say that Susan Ericksen really does do the characters justice.

Solid performance & writing makes this series!

Each and every mystery has its own unique twists & turns. The consistent voice throughout the series makes each listen a reunion with old dear friends. Great storytelling with identifiable voices makes this series a must have on road trips. In this book, we find out about the murder of Captain McMasters daughter, Deena and the ensuing chase to identify and capture the perpretator, if they only can.

Great addition to series!

This is a well-written story with all the action and excitement you'd expect from a J.D. Robb novel. Always good to catch up with such a great cast of characters. Susan Ericksen is an excellent narrator.

Simply the best!!!

Would you listen to Kindred in Death again? Why?

Yes and I have listened to it multiple times. I love the story and the characters and I especially love the way Susan Erickson's performance. She is amazing.

What other book might you compare Kindred in Death to and why?

This seriew is so geat I can not compare it to any other because it's in a class all by itself.

Which scene was your favorite?

I always love the scenes between Eve and Rourke.

Good listen

I enjoyed this book. The characters were believable which some times is not the case in mysteries. It was well read and the production values were good.

great story - tough subject

This was an excellent story. The topic was very tough however! A great read, I highly suggest it!

All of the "In Death" series keep me on the edge of my seat. With the suspense, drama, and humor, I can't wait to find out what happens next.

Have you listened to any of Susan Ericksen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to 34 books and several short stories that Ericksen has narrated. No one compares to her.

This one was a tough one

Just saying. I’m addicted of these books but I also always appreciate a heads up in reviews when it’s especially trigger-y. This was one of them. Rough. But worth sticking through.

Fresh ideas

I like the idea of this series taking place in the not to distant future. The book is well written and I could not put it down. Looking forward to listening to the whole series!

Complex, twisted, sad

Would you be willing to try another book from J. D. Robb? Why or why not?

Yes, I'll continue with the series, but this book is too graphic with the torture for me. I didn't like how the "gore" took away from the story.

Have you listened to any of Susan Ericksen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Susan Ericksen is a great narrator. On target with the voices and the pace.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My only thoughts were that the book highlights the crime in too much detail - it takes away from the characters and the overall story.

Not my favorite "In Death" book, but I will continue the series.
