One of Her Best
I've read every book in the "In Death" series multiple times (don't judge me!) and this two-book combo is one of my favorites. It's better if you know the cast of characters, but I'm pretty sure it would work as well as a stand-alone. I
Susan Ericksen brings the characters to life with distinctive voices, the plot moves along, and it's NORA, for crying out loud. I love it!

Remember When
Always Nora and J D . Robb have outdone themselves writing another fabulous book!! I have read almost all of their books that I could find, and have never enjoyed one a much as this one. The two combined together were delightful and I could hardly stop listening! Thanks for another great journey with Eve and Roerk ( sp.)

Lovely blend of stories
I'm a huge fan of JD ROBB's "In Death" Series but was a bit leery of the description of Remember When which was touted primarily as a Romance. I was very pleasantly surprised by the interesting plot and the great characters of Remember When. I thought the author did a good job of putting together the story arch from the Romance to Eve Dallas. Susan Ericksen's narration was top notch as always !

The best of all possible world my favorite two favorite authors In a laugh out loud whirlwind of romance, mystery and crime fighting badassery!!! A story so big it took half a century to tell it!

Interesting Duo
Remember When is actually two separate stories, one in current time about a diamond hiest and a second story in which Eve Dallas is involved. The second story is related to the first story. A former reviewer said to read this book prior to number 17 due to Summerset, the butler's, return. However, I STRONGLY advise you to read this book after number 17 because of the Peabody story arc. If you read this one prior to number 17 it spoils the surprise. I enjoyed the Eve Dallas part better than the first part. Another great story by JD Robb!
