Publisher's Summary

**Thank you everyone for the auditions, but this is currently under negotiations.** Chase Winters was the bane of my existence.

But he was also the lifeline of my heart and soul. Literally.

Things are steaming up between us, and between the sheets. When his lips weren't locked with mine, they were spewing verbal crap. Half the time I don't know whether to kiss him or slap him. Our bond was more than just being connected, we are soulbound. The closer we get, the stronger the bond takes hold and now-a-days it seemed we are inseparable.

There was a new addition to our little town, one that has all the Divisa's on guard – a hunter has taken up residency. This hunter was not just another threat, not when their identity hit a little close to home. Strife divides my neighbor's household surrounding this supposed enemy. Could they be friend or foe?

Chase's number one priority in all this as always, was to keep me safe.

Regardless of what Chase says, I am not the weak and fragile human they all think I am. And there was nothing I wouldn't do to keep Chase from harm. He might drive me up a freaking wall, but he was my pain in the ass. I wasn't about to sit back and let some hunter fire an arrow through his heart. Not if I could help it.

Then there was the one question that was on everyone's mind: Will the hunter kill us or save us…

Narrator?? Ugh!

Oh my goodness? I thought this girl was a Tom boy? The narrator makes her sound like a snob with a whiny, high -pitched girl. I just couldn’t get past two chapters. That is really horrible... I really liked the first book & the narrator was fine. This second narrator made me laugh when I heard her do chases (the guys) voice!? How in the world did this get that many good reviews? Also, I went to listen to the last books sample and the guys voice was worse! I am just upset that I wasted time on the first book not to be able to finish the series!? That is a bummer:(

Good thing it was free

I wasn’t happy with the first book but the second book was free. I thought I’d give it a try.
The beginning of the book the narrator was so whiny it irritated my ears.
Once again are heroin proves to be whiny and dumb.
No Just...no

Ready for the next book!

So glad book 2 had a different narrator or I may have quit this series. This one was so much more enjoyable. Funny with a little drama, a little mystery, a little romance... all of which I hope after adding up to much more.

Not bad of a plot, not into the narrator

I do not like the narrator for some reason. The 1st book, that narrator, matches so well and now, this narrator sounds so whiny and annoying. Maybe that’s how the author wanted it to be...considering Angel did come back in a different form of being? Overall, the story is not so bad.

Seriously with the narration??

Whoever thought it would be a good idea to change over to a valley girl narrator should be fired. If it wasn’t for the Love between Chase and Angel, I would have returned it immediately. It also took FOREVER for them to talk about their feelings which was annoying. But when things are good, they are REALLY good!!!

Angels fools

Well I am happy to say that this narrator is pretty good too.I was a bit skeptical at first, when changing from one narrator to another,it can ruin the adventure of the story, but this narrator is pretty close to sounding like the last, more high pitched in voice and still more snarky, but after a while you get use to it and she eventually only uses the snark with the expected characters. This book wasn't as adventurous as the first but more melodramatic with tough decision making.Well Angel and Chase has took the second step in becoming all encompassing with their bond, only one more to go.Cant wait to find out what happens in the next book.

original narrator better

story was good but why on earth did they change the narrator? The original one was so much more enjoyable to listen to. Her voice is whiny and very "valley girl". Unfortunately I want to know how it ends so I have no choice but to put up with it. Lame!

Very good

I am totally hooked on chase, but let's be real.... The lack of sex at this point is unbelievable. The Emma surprise was unexpected !

not yet

ok, I don't know what is up with the narrator, or I it's supposed to play into the tone of the story, but I cannot continue listening to this. At least for now. her voice sounds like a must of snootiness and boredom. Maybe I'll give it another chance some other time, but for now I can't even make it past the first chapter. sigh...
