Publisher's Summary

**Thank you everyone for the auditions, but this is currently under negotiations.** Chase Winters was the bane of my existence.

But he was also the lifeline of my heart and soul. Literally.

Things are steaming up between us, and between the sheets. When his lips weren't locked with mine, they were spewing verbal crap. Half the time I don't know whether to kiss him or slap him. Our bond was more than just being connected, we are soulbound. The closer we get, the stronger the bond takes hold and now-a-days it seemed we are inseparable.

There was a new addition to our little town, one that has all the Divisa's on guard – a hunter has taken up residency. This hunter was not just another threat, not when their identity hit a little close to home. Strife divides my neighbor's household surrounding this supposed enemy. Could they be friend or foe?

Chase's number one priority in all this as always, was to keep me safe.

Regardless of what Chase says, I am not the weak and fragile human they all think I am. And there was nothing I wouldn't do to keep Chase from harm. He might drive me up a freaking wall, but he was my pain in the ass. I wasn't about to sit back and let some hunter fire an arrow through his heart. Not if I could help it.

Then there was the one question that was on everyone's mind: Will the hunter kill us or save us…

Narrator?? Ugh!

Oh my goodness? I thought this girl was a Tom boy? The narrator makes her sound like a snob with a whiny, high -pitched girl. I just couldn’t get past two chapters. That is really horrible... I really liked the first book & the narrator was fine. This second narrator made me laugh when I heard her do chases (the guys) voice!? How in the world did this get that many good reviews? Also, I went to listen to the last books sample and the guys voice was worse! I am just upset that I wasted time on the first book not to be able to finish the series!? That is a bummer:(

Good thing it was free

I wasn’t happy with the first book but the second book was free. I thought I’d give it a try.
The beginning of the book the narrator was so whiny it irritated my ears.
Once again are heroin proves to be whiny and dumb.

Ready for the next book!

So glad book 2 had a different narrator or I may have quit this series. This one was so much more enjoyable. Funny with a little drama, a little mystery, a little romance... all of which I hope after adding up to much more.

Narrator

Good book but the first narrator was so much better. Sucks when they switch narrators within a series.

Nasal Narrator

I do not like the narrator at all. Annoying when she goes into her nasal character. She also reads words as if she has her finger pointing at each word much of the time. Terribly annoying.

Did not like this narrator! The 1st bk was better

Why oh why do they change narrators! This one did do the men's voices well at all. The way she did Chase's voice made him sound like a 900 male operator! Ugh...it was terrible! But Iove the series. I'll just go back to reading the books instead of listening to Audible.

Narrator ruined it

I love the premise of these books. If you are familiar with Twilight you will definitely notice some elements that are the same. I just had a hard time getting passed this narrator. She made the characters sound ridiculous and super cheesy. It’s going to take awhile before I will even consider the next book, if I ever do.

Narration Nightmare

Man, I don’t mean to be a jerk but the narration of this book is terrible! Super nasally and whiny. If definitely does not reflect the type of character Angel is supposed to be. It is so distracting and bad that I’m honestly not sure I can finish this book. The characters all sound like whiny jerks and it’s super grating to listen to. Too bad.
