Publisher's Summary

Number-one New York Times best seller!

Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera reunite to continue the story of Arthur and Ben, the boys listeners first fell for in the New York Times best-selling rom-com What If It’s Us.

Ben survived freshman year of college, but he’s feeling more stuck than ever. His classes are a slog, his part-time job working with his father is even worse, and his best friend Dylan’s been acting weird for weeks. Ben’s only real bright spot is his writing partner Mario, who’s been giving him a lot of Spanish lessons and even more kisses. Mario’s big Hollywood dreams make Ben start to dream bigger - and the choices he makes now could be the key to reshaping his future. So why can’t he stop thinking about a certain boy from his past?

Arthur is back in New York City for the first time in two years, ready to take the theater world by a storm as the world’s best...intern to the assistant of an off-off-Broadway director. Of course, it sucks to be spending the summer apart from his sweet, reliable boyfriend, Mikey, but he knows their relationship is strong enough to weather the distance. Which is why it’s no big deal when his ex-boyfriend Ben stumbles back into the picture. And it’s definitely fine that Ben’s blissfully happy with some mystery boy. First loves are special, but it’s way too late for what-ifs. Right?

Even as the boys try to shake off the past, they keep running into each other in the present. Is this the universe trying to tell them there’s a do-over in their future?

Here's to Us is sure to be welcomed by fans old and new of these authors and their previous collaboration, What If It's Us. Critically acclaimed and best-selling authors Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera combine their talents in these smart, funny, heartfelt novels about two very different boys who can’t decide if the universe is pushing them together - or pulling them apart.

It //DOES// Live Up To The First Book…

Don’t be discouraged… this story is the comfort hug we’ve needed after three years of hell.

Just as the readers have grown up…. so have these characters and how they tell their story.

Arthur/Noah + Ben/Froy Performance?
*Chefs Kiss*

No story / sequel is ever perfect. We all imagine differently for our favorite characters… but this ‘do-over’? Pretty. Damn. Close. To. Perfect.

Just like our two boys.

Love vicariously through the book for a few hours.
Treat yourself.
Spend the credit.

Loved this duology

I breezed through this book! I was late for What if it’s us. But I woke up 3AM EST to start this one once it dropped on audible! It put me through a roller coaster but I’m so glad I listened/read these two books! Great collaboration from Becky and Adam! I just finished a few minutes ago and will be re listening tonight!

Much Better Ending

Without any spoilers this had a much better ending than the first book. Very sweet, and very clearly closure. While not ever book should have a happy ending, this is one that definitely needed it.

A sequel perhaps better than the original

Oh my. I listened to this book the day after listening to the the first book, Maybe It's Us, while on a long cross country road trip. At this point, Ben and Arthur feel like good friends.

This book, published three years after the first, picks up about a year and a half after we left our boys in the first book. Many things have changed for Ben and Arthur. both have moved on to new boyfriends (or are they really....) and there are more twists and turns in this book than the first.

I got verklempt in various places in the first book. This one had me in full on sloppy crying mode repeatedly. Oh my goodness, what joy, what pain, what heartbreak, what elation!! After listening to both of these books over two consecutive days, I was just frazzled ... in a lovely and warm way.

This book introduces some new characters, and while they're all voiced by Froy and Noah as in the first book, many of them are fleshed out more. My particular fave is Dillon. Ben's straight best friend who would apparently go gay for Ben ... at least in the most Dillon way possible. He seems to be one of these "bro dude" types of boys who has a constant Bill and Ted "whoa..." mode switched on. But it becomes clear that he's one of the sweetest friends a person could have.

Are Ben and Arthur really going to be separated forever? will their summer of love at 16 be only that? ARE THEY EVER GOING TO STOP ASSUMING WHAT THE OTHER IS THINKING IS BAD???!!!

I think this book is even better than the first. It's a great read, but this time, forget the box of tissues. Grab a hanky!!!

The love story I wish I had at 16

It’s a beautiful point of view that the lgbtq+ community rarely gets to see. The break up of the chapters into each characters narration form makes it a rollercoaster of emotions. The narrators really sold it. 10 out of 10. I’m already listening all over again.

Enjoyable story and performances.

I enjoyed this book and Noah Glavin as always is flawless. I enjoyed Froy Gutierrez performance as well but his narration feels more acted although his Dylan narration is perfect.

The sequel we all needed!

An absolutely beautiful love story, filled with do-overs and amazing friendship. At times had me laughing from Dylan's wild side, to crying at Ben and Arthur's love for each other. The narrators we're perfect and made me feel like I was with the boys hearing them recount the events. Definitely lived up to the first book.

Got the Perfect Ending

I loved the first book so much, and this book didn’t disappoint either. However, I do feel extremely bad for Mikey and hated that I found myself disliking Arthur at times. I just felt like Mikey was treated so poorly and wouldn’t have gotten Arthur’s actions from the first book. I guess no character is perfect, but the ending made my heart so full of joy. Great writing from both authors!
