I have finished listening to this book for my 4th time.
I loved it as much this time as the first.
Abby is the best! Great stories. I bought this book for my BFF and she just finished. She could not stop talking about it.
Her daughter bought her the next book and now I’m gonna have to listen to that one again so she and I can talk about it while it’s fresh in my head.

I have only ever immediately re"read" one book, this is my second. And I think the first to be read immediately for the 3rd time. There are so many simply stated complex truths expertly woven from beginning to end.

These words have become the artillery in my war to reclaim myself.

Just yes! I laughed so hard listening that I couldn't stop snorting and the people in this car next to me stared.... I cried because I was heartbroken too. And I felt their loss. Then I rejoiced. I loved every minute even if some were close to home.

Part of your World

I have read all of Abby’s books(well listened to) and I have loved them all. But this one…this one made my heart ache, made me laugh, made me cry…I love that in a book. The best one yet!

Funny light and airy!

I never write reviews but had to on this one. Adorable story. I laughed out loud several times. Listen all the way through. Great narration once again by Julia Whelan!

Really enjoyed this story. Character development was great! Will seek out more from the author!

Recognize the unknown unknown

Great daily deal for four dollars. You get to good narrators, of course Miss Whalen's male voice is really yummy as she deepen it from 2014 on. Do not miss Karen Robards guardian series, tops. This author has a message in this book, which if you recognize yourself, Then she has succeeded in writing a great book. If you love fairytale stories e.g. Cinderfella, enjoy. If you are doubting of yourself, take heart and push forward. This author writes with humor Eg kid in PJ’s and Kevin Bacon, so l will seek out her other reads when on sale as those narrators are not in my top favorite category.

So good!

This story was amazing. I hesitated to listen because I didn’t want anymore sadness in life. But, I’m glad I did. I love Julia Whelan’s work. Didn’t much care for the portions read by the male narrator, but the story was great and so was Julia.

Abby has a way of pulling you in right from the first word, I will read/listen to every single one of her books until she stops writing!

Such a good listen!

Loved this one! The narrators did a wonderful job with the material. Loved both lead characters. The story line was engaging and pace was just right. I liked how the author brought in both emotional and physical abuse without that being the sole focus and provided ways to reach out if the listener was interested in doing so.
