A New York Times, Publishers Weekly, and IndieBound bestseller!

Balancing epic and intensely personal stakes, bestselling author Adam Silvera’s Infinity Son is a gritty, fast-paced adventure about two brothers caught up in a magical war generations in the making.

Growing up in New York, brothers Emil and Brighton always idolized the Spell Walkers—a vigilante group sworn to rid the world of specters. While the Spell Walkers and other celestials are born with powers, specters take them, violently stealing the essence of endangered magical creatures.

Brighton wishes he had a power so he could join the fray. Emil just wants the fighting to stop. The cycle of violence has taken a toll, making it harder for anyone with a power to live peacefully and openly. In this climate of fear, a gang of specters has been growing bolder by the day.

Then, in a brawl after a protest, Emil manifests a power of his own—one that puts him right at the heart of the conflict and sets him up to be the heroic Spell Walker Brighton always wanted to be.

Brotherhood, love, and loyalty will be put to the test, and no one will escape the fight unscathed.

Don't miss Infinity Reaper, the gripping sequel!

Characters spend more time complaining than thinking, which would’ve solved most of the story problems. Not especially satisfying overall.

I suggest skipping this one

The story was a little bit all over the place and there were way too many elements that just didn’t make sense and that you had to keep track of. I also hate when writers make all of the characters just not enjoyable and very dislikable people. I saw an interview where the writer made mention of the Phoenix force being as similar power to what he had written, and that was really generous of himself to say that. I will see that it did end on a cliffhanger and I feel invested to learn what happens next so good job there.

Umm…

I have to admit I'm not sure who was a hero and who was a villain, the best i can describe the characters that were supposedly the "good guys" is anti heros

Heros or villains?

No idea why this book have received so many negative reviews. While the story isn’t original or groundbreaking it’s still very good! I loved it and will definitely continue with the series!

Great YA fantasy!

It has AMAZING concepts with shallow characters and lackluster direction. It's the kind of book that the pitch of the concept is really interesting and could have been so good but a lot of it falls flat. And a very unsatisfying ending to boot.

Definitely fine
