Milo. Unusual. Quirky. Different. I’ve heard it all. I’ve accepted I’m not for everyone. When I find out I inherited a bookstore and apartment on a small East Coast island, I jump at the chance for a new life. Turns out I’ve also inherited a sexy, tattooed guy who not only rents the space next to my store but my apartment too. Gideon. I wasn’t looking for a roommate, but it’s not like I can stay at Milo’s place while he’s banished to a hotel. According to Milo, we’re bestie goals. And if he doesn’t wear pants at home, who am I to complain?

Story
Delaney Roberts and Marcus Worthy-Davis have quite a few things in common. Both blue-collar workers in their 40s, they’ve experienced the tragic loss of their wives and meet through their monthly grief group. Their connection is immediate, their friendship solidifying over texts and barstool confessions, neither feeling quite so lonely in the other’s presence. When Marcus reveals to the group that he’s considering dating, it shakes Delaney to his core. He’s nowhere near ready, not when he feels on unstable ground with his teenage son and has vowed not to uproot his life again.

In my defense, I was left alone with a bottle of single-malt and a lifelong penchant for protecting my baby sister. Still, that's no excuse to send 10 drunk-texts on why her hasty marriage would be a mistake. If only I had just texted my sister. But nope. I accidentally sent the message to her, her groom, and his super hot wingman. I also used the phrase “super hot wingman”, so I’d like to die now.

But right now the only thing standing between me and the NHL is six feet of frenemy packed into a pair of form-fitting jeans that have me thinking all kinds of things I shouldn’t. When I left that night, I had every intention of coming back to you. To us. But no matter how hard I wish for what I want, there are some things in life that aren't meant to be. It started out as a little fun. When there was a man in my building on a hookup app, why not message him? Only we didn’t meet. We just texted - one night after the other, after the other. GoodWithHisHands was the perfect escape from my life, where pressure was always on my shoulders: my father’s expectations, the worry about my sister, Maddy, getting sick again, and her ex-husband, Ryder Lynwood, suddenly back and volunteering at the same hospital as me. I like talking to him, the same way I enjoy chatting with GoodWithHisHands. They weren’t supposed to be the same person.

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. Friends don't bang friends. I want my friends to stay in my life, especially that flirty, clever, outgoing best friend of mine. It's a darn good thing Owen and I made a pact in college to never ever sleep together, or else I'd be tempted. Trouble is, eight years later, I've been wondering what his kisses taste like. And I've been curious if our chemistry would extend into the bedroom. If he might feel the same risky pull. But I don't want to lose Owen.

When it comes to hockey, I'm all about the game. I've worked for years to be one of the best in the league, and l've done it without splashing my orientation all over the tabloids. My hockey image is one I've carefully cultivated, and after one night with Ezra Palaszczuk, I risk it all. He's cocky, obnoxious, and has an ego bigger than Massachusetts. And okay, maybe he's the sexiest man I've ever known. We'll never get along. Not when we sleep together. Not even when my possessive streak awakens. That doesn't stop us from falling into bed together over and over again.

Deacon Black is perfectly content with the status quo - work, sleep, repeat. Who cares if he’s rigid, structured, and set in his ways? It’s a job requirement that keeps his men safe and his company’s doors open. One phone call is all it takes to upend his life and land him right back into a past he has tried to forget. Revisiting old ghosts is the last thing he needs. Especially when the forced trip down memory lane includes the only woman he never wanted to see again.

Publisher's Summary
A red-hot enemies-to-lovers, fake boyfriend, second-chance romance, and the conclusion to the Hopelessly Bromantic Duet!
Let me just say this—fake dating the cocky movie star was not my idea. Especially since he’s my former roomie and, gulp, my secret ex.
But my agent tells me I have no choice since I’m ridiculously overdue with turning in the next big blockbuster love story to my publisher.
Not to mention, ahem, writing it.
Hooking up with the smooth-talking English hottie once upon a time—fine, twice—were huge mistakes that I shouldn’t repeat, but pretending to like the guy who drives me crazy is my only chance at saving my job. That is, as long as no one finds out that every date we go on, every smile we flash each other for the cameras, and every hot, desperate kiss on the streets of Manhattan is absolutely fake.
Except…it’s not. At least for me. And he can never know....
Here Comes My Man is the final novel in the epic two-book Hopelessly Bromantic duet! Performed with a full supporting cast including: Vanessa Edwin, J.F. Harding, James Joseph, Faye Adele, Evan Parker, Shakira Shute, Robbie Martino, Blake Lockheart, Stephanie Németh-Parker, Stella Hunter, and, in a special performance, Sebastian York!
Here Comes My Man also includes bloopers, an interview with the leads, and the world premiere of The Boyfriend Kickoff, a prequel novella to the Boyfriend Comeback!

Delicious ending to a decade long yearning
After listening to the Hopelessly Bromantic Duet, Book 1, I immediately bought the second and final book. I was dismayed that Jude and TJ decided to cut ties when TJ had to return to America for work. Why didn't they just decide to keep in touch, to support one another through the difficulties of making your mark in their chosen careers? Well, thank goodness for a second book to resolve their terrible choice. While I did find their reluctance to open up through 3/4 of the second book, I decided to hang tough with their need to protect themselves from possible heartbreak and hurt. And I'm not sorry and I'm not being critical of the story. I'm a romantic soul who loves life when two people obviously good for one another choose to stay together. Lauren Blakely definitely wrote a story that kept me interested, occasionally laughing, and ultimately grateful for Jude and TJ's HEA.
I am truly impressed with the narrator cast. Their fantastic voices made the two books reach the higest level possible in enjoyment. I hope to hear more from these narrators, and compliments to Lauren Blakely and her editorial or publishing team for spending the money for the best voices for her two books. I'm currently listening to a sample of her next book, The Boyfriend Kickoff. It's going to be amazing and has the same lovely narrator voices creating the world Blakely invites us to join. I'll definitely buy it once available.

I have to say that book 2 of this duet brought everything full circle in a beautiful way. I struggled with the ending of the last book a little and I don't love fake relationship tropes but AS ALWAYS Lauren Blakely changed my mind! She always has a way of writing her stories to show me I just haven't listened to it done her way yet ;)
TJ & Jude had major chemistry in book 1 although it took a little while to get there, that chemistry came back 100 fold in this book. I loved how they were fake/real dating at the same time. The way they grew throughout this duet really worked so well for me and made the ending wrap up in a PERFECT sexy love story. I loved everything about the ending to this story, no major drama and the little drama there was was handled so perfectly that my heart was super happy and full.
I said this in my review of book 1 but it has to be said again, Teddy Hamilton & Shane East really play off each other expertly. Even if they aren't close in real life they sure felt like it in their acting in this book, it was so natural which is what I adore in great narration!
This book also has a couple short stories that will leave you wanting more along with a fireside chat with Teddy & Shane and Bloopers!!!!

A little bit of everything sometimes turns into a lot of perfect!
A M/M fake boyfriend, second (or third) chance romance that reads like more than a rom com… it’s a love letter with witty banter, humor, heart, heartache, happiness, and sweet, sexy, swoony (yes I said that) times.
This conclusion to Lauren Blakely’s Hopelessly Bromantic duology between romance writer TJ and his British love actor Jude is everything a listener could want.
A full cast narration from some of the best romance narrators in the business… sign me up!

After leaving me wanting with the cliffhanger from Hopelessly Bromantic, I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen between TJ and Jude. Lauren Blakely did not disappoint with the second installment of this fabulous duet! Tj and Jude broke up on a bad note, and now 8 months later both of their careers need a boost. What better way than to have a pretend relationship? The brilliant idea of their agent, these two have the task of going out in public for the first time and showing that new found love you see in the beginning of a relationship. Is it that far off? Will they be able to pretend to fall in love? And how will it all end? Publicity is everything for both of them, TJ needs his writer block lifted and Jude needs to connect with his characters. Their agents have a plan, we just have to see how it all plays out in their real lives! Witty banter, incredible chemistry, enemies to lovers, second chances at love, Blakely pulls out all the stops, keeping me captivated and thrilled with the outcome.
Then Blakely puts together a full cast narration, led by Shane East as Jude and Teddy Hamilton as TJ. Our favorites come in with cameo performances and create a world that is a wonderful escape from our real world! Take TJ and Jude's journey, you are going to love it!

Very happy!
I finished “Hopelessly Bromantic,” on 6/26, and the two days I had to wait for the conclusion, were brutal! I started it as soon as it became available, and only paused when I had to. I’m always a fan of Lauren’s work, and enjoy both Shane and Teddy’s voices, regardless of the characters they take on, but I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two of them together in this duet.

Third time’s a charm!!
Here Comes My Man by Lauren Blakely is book 2 in the Hopelessly Bromantic duet. I was so anxious for this book to come out after reading the first book. I absolutely love TJ and Jude together and was heartbroken after book one. Here Comes My Man is a fake date, second, no third chance romance. You will absolutely love to see how their story unfolds and comes together. They are even better together the third time around. As with all of Lauren Blakely’s books, you will get your feel of laughter, friendship and definitely swoon, swoon, swoon.
I loved the narration from Teddy Hamilton and Shane East, along with the full cast of characters. It absolutely made the book come to life!

All of the swoony stars for TJ & Jude!
Here Comes My Man is everything I needed it to be after Lauren killed us all with that ending in Hopelessly Bromantic. TJ & Jude are licking wounds separately from their breakup and find themselves forced into a fake relationship because nobody knows about their real one that ended so badly ~ Brilliant! Such a fantastically swoony example of the right person at the wrong time, missed opportunities, second chances, fake to forever, and learning from your mistakes I almost can’t stand it! TJ has trouble opening up and tends to keep secrets while Jude has trust issues. This blew up in a big way with book 1. I really enjoyed the well-written evolution of the story as they learn from mistakes and grow, both separately and together. One of my favorite quotes is “Eat the chocolate, get the shirt, tell the man he's yours.” TJ and Jude have chemistry for days. When they connect they burn hot and beautiful!
Shane and Teddy are so perfect together and I love the full supporting cast that really brings that extra performance to FANTASTIC levels! You definitely don’t want to miss the bloopers and the extra short stories at the end. Another swoony story about true love and finding your person. Five swoony stars!!! Don’t forget to check out Lauren’s YouTube channel to see interviews with Teddy and Shane that are hilarious!

Loved this Second Chance Romance!
I loved TJ and Jude's fun, emotional, and steamy, fake relationship/second chance romance! When they broke up because of insecurity, they left both their lives, and hearts, in shambles. Month's later, TJ still can't write, and Jude is in a PR nightmare. They have been unknowingly put together to fake date each other to help their images. They act like they are not happy, but the love they thought was gone, is making their hearts beat again. The fiery chemistry sizzles between them, making it hard not to act on it for themselves and not just for the cameras. They still have to work on their jealousy and insecurities and learn to be happy for each other's successes and support each other through their failures. With the pressure of writing again, a new show, and the world watching, will they ever be able to trust, and support each other unconditionally, or will the pressure be too much, tearing them apart for good this time, shattering both their hearts. I fell hard for TJ and Jude in the first book, and Blakely has made me love them even more the second time around! My heart broke for them as we find out the root cause of Jude's insecurities, and why TJ is so closed and secretive. It was so beautiful watching them learn to open up, communicate, trust, and support each other. I loved everything about them and their story, like the steamy tension, the banter, the emotional talks, and the sizzling romance which was explosive! TJ and Jude's story is a beautiful new beginning, filled with hope, healing, forgiveness, and love that will stay with you long after the last page.

I’m so in love with Jude and TJ!
We pick up Jude and TJ’s story several months after their split. It’s been rough on them both personally and professionally. TJ hasn’t been able to write, and Jude has found himself in a sex scandal. When their agents come up with the brilliant idea to have them pretend to be a couple for the press, this is where things get complicated. Their agents don’t know about their previous time together; all they see are two men who don’t want to be in the same room together. Thinking of their careers, Jude and TJ decide to put their differences aside and agree to be boyfriends.
Both are still hurting from the breakup, and miss each other like crazy. As they spend time together, they try to begin healing past hurts, even if they aren’t getting back together. In their time apart, Jude and TJ have learned so much about themselves, and are able to see their faults in their relationship and subsequent fight that pulls them apart. As they get to know each other all over again, they see each other—and themselves—in a different light. I loved how TJ and Jude mature emotionally, and begin to let their walls down, even if a little at a time. Life is too short to be without the one you were meant to have.
This was such a beautifully written and narrated story. Shane East and Teddy Hamilton definitely knew the assignment. I believe this series is their first time narrating together as leads. Their chemistry is great, and I believe their performances were elevated because of that. Lauren Blakely writes the most beautiful love stories, regardless of the identity of the characters.

All the stars. Such a great sequel. I loved the low angst after the heartbreak ending of book one. Worth the wait and the credit. Fantastic cast! Teddy & Shane were so sexy & fun together.

I Absolutely Freaking Loved this duet! 😍
Kind of devastated it ended so early!
Not ashamed to say I bawled happy tears at the end. 😭
Narration-2 of my all time favourite narrators. Outstanding. 👌👏
Seriously hot scenes. 🔥🔥🔥
Loved every minute of this and will be started again really soon.
Please continue with the Bloopers at the end of your stories. They are hilarious and the camaraderie between both narrators is apparent. 😂

Fantastic Conclusion!
Like the first book in this duet, I received an advanced copy to read but I had also pre-ordered the audiobook and started listening to it as soon as it hit my Audible app. Here Comes My Man is another amazing full-cast audiobook. The lead characters are performed by Teddy Hamilton and Shane East. There’s almost 2 hours of extra audio after the book concludes, including a fireside chat between Teddy and Shane, as well as a great blooper reel. Buying the audiobook was worth it for this extra material alone. The books in this duet are the first that these two actors have performed opposite each other; I sure hope this isn’t the last time!
I really can’t say enough good things about this duet. The fake boyfriends to real lovers trope isn’t anything new but Lauren Blakely puts her own spin on it and the voice actors did a fantastic job of bringing her words to life. TJ and Jude definitely get their HEA and I loved how it all worked out.
I can whole-heartedly recommend this great duet. If you enjoy MM audiobooks don’t hesitate to snap these up!

Part 2 in this sexy duet
have been impatiently waiting for the conclusion to Jude and TJ’s story, and let me say. I was not disappointed. Lauren Blakely writes sexy m/m romance in the best possible way. Pure entertainment from the get-go, as now enemies, Jude and TJ have to endure a fake romance together to preserve their careers. How though, can two people with their history, play house and not feel? Such a fun, enjoyable read with lots of sexy time, not too much angst, and a whole host of friends getting in their business, in the best possible way. Shane East and Teddy Hamilton, along with a whole host of my favourite narrators (including Sebastian York), narrate this story to utter perfection.
Then, as happens so often with Lauren Blakely’s audios, we get lots of extras including:
I Said Someday - a Hopelessly Bromantic short story - it’s William’s story - Yay - he’s 1 year sober, and ready to romance the sexy actor he’s been fantasising about.
The Boyfriend Kickoff - The Boyfriend Comeback prequel novella narrated by Teddy Hamilton and JF Harding, is the perfect introduction to Jason and Beck, and I can’t wait for the full length novel.
An interview with Shane East and Teddy Hamilton asking each other questions and discussing the premise of the story.
And. My favourite part. The blooper real. So funny. I was laughing out loud throughout.

Loved this!
Here Comes My Man is book two in the Hopelessly Bromantic Duet.
I've been hanging for this release since I finished Hopelessly Bromantic on release day. The characters and story had me so hooked!
This starts out with a totally different vibe to book one. We have some of my favourite tropes here with enemies to lovers and second chance with fake boyfriend thrown into the mix.
TJ and Jude have history and to add insult to injury they're now thrusted into a fake boyfriend scenario that both of their careers need for very different reasons.
With their forced proximity they're have no choice but to address their issues. But it's not all smooth sailing. The perfect dose of angst and drama. Plus the addition of hate sex, which brings a whole new element to the plot. They don't just fall straight back into old habits, the plot unfolds over time which I really enjoyed.
Banter and snark is one of my favourite things about Lauren Blakely's books. But how Teddy and Shane bring our leads to life with the assistance of a full cast appearances for other characters.
The additional of not only a bonus short story 'I Said Someday' about William and Christian but the teaser of what's to come for The Boyfriend Kickoff had me adding the next read to my TBR so fast.
As I mentioned in my review of Hopelessly Bromantic the blooper reel is possibly one of the best additions to an audiobook I've ever listened to. They're hilarious and it's impossible not to fall into giggle fits listening to them laugh at each other and butcher their lines. I wish there was more of these added to audiobooks!
