Listening to this book was like a radio performance!

The story is great; it has humor, suspense and romance. The narrator’s energy was contagious and made the story’s characters come alive. This is my first audible book and I will definitely download more!

excellent book

I enjoyed this book very much. One of those you could not stop listening to. Karen Witemeyer is such a good author. Very clean stories, with biblical input.

Great book full of twists and turns.

This book will hold your attention and keep you guessing yet not having you get bogged down with details. It is an easy read but very fun and clean.

Witemeyer Fan

I’m a Witemeyer Fan now, but either Cozart has to create a new hero voice or Witemeyer needs to get a new narrator. Cozart is excellent in many ways but please, that high pitch-teenage -boy voice doesn’t work. The story of two telegraph operators is delightful and my favorite scene is where Grace interviews Amos via the wire. Excellent writing, especially where Amos contemplates the image of her lacy garter holding her derringer. Cute! Great plot!

Great read! I strongly recommend this book

After reading book one of the series I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to read book two. I found the first book's prologue enticing. However as the story progressed there were lulls in the story's flow and I lost interest. I felt there were too many characters to keep straight and often had to reread earlier chapters to keep them straight. However I decided to try book 2 and was pleasantly surprised and struggled to put it down.

Heart on the Line

I listen to this in the car with my granddaughter and she didn't want me to stop driving! The book catches your attention right away. Good clean romance.

Quirky people deserve love to

I really enjoyed this quirky love story. I love stories about awkward people falling in love. Not just a breath brining people and women with slim waist. I had to say I was more invested in what was going on Helen. I would have loved a full story, just with Helen falling in love.

perfect balance of romance & suspense!

I loved it from the start! well written and well read! so appreciated the characters contiual reliance upon God - even included a restored heart. perfect ending, as well!
