I like the good information.

I like the good information. The information on gut health is super important since our guts create lots of the brain's required neuro-chemicals. I prefer simpler recipes. But these are still very doable,even for me.

This book is a god send! It has numerous recipes, meal plans, and tips to help and promote gut health which is so helpful when you have GERD, etc. I have so many recipes to last a very long time!

The recipes are amazing.

The recipes are amazing. They contain good healing foods that contain very tasty ingredients, not a lot of bland foods that will make you feel deprived. I am really disappointed that there weren't photos of the recipes. I think of a recipe like a puzzle that I have to put together and I am one of those who really needs to see what the puzzle is supposed to look like beforehand. They are great recipes though and the book is actually worth buying

Useful recipes

I have purchased several different books for myself and a friend in the past couple of months about healing the gut. There are so many diets out there with competing theories that it truly makes your head spin. The more I read the more confused I get. I will say this is a good book in that it explains the different types of stomach conditions and whats going on and how to heal with diet. It's very readable with different charts and sections and you can go through it quickly while picking up a lot of information.

In a sea of endless diet tips and rules, this book keeps it simple for resetting the gut. It's not filled with the overwhelming science of it all...it's easy to follow the workable plan if your gut is off balance.

This book is a great cookbook and also a great tool to learn traditional ways of making recipes. If you want to heal your gut, this is a great place to start your journey. Well written and great recipes, along with some background of the authors. I give this book a thumbs up!

I would recommend this to anyone.

It was, at times, difficult to read without getting lost, because it is so detailed. Nevertheless, the delicacy and the fact that the whole thing said was backed by research and explanations was what made it more believable and trustworthy, in my opinion. I learned a lot from it. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in eating right, without sacrificing good-tasting food and nutrition.

Good fats are actually very necessary.

I thought this book was very interesting and educational. It takes a different method to health and weight loss or control than most other "diet" books do. This book teaches that fat, contrary to popular believe, and does not make you fat. In fact, good fats are actually very necessary in our daily diets.

Fats does not make you actually fat.

I like that the author breaks down the ways the body produces and consumes energy. How this relates to weight and muscle gain. The science of how it all fits together is bridged well with actual solutions with meal plans that people can follow.

Great easy to use information.

I'm happy to find a clear easy read that I can recommend for my clients as a reserve to aid them in their health, fitness, and longevity pursuits. What I like most about this particular book is its ability to simplify and explain how our bodies use energy, and some simple steps to take to ensure that the food you're eating is supporting your health and not simply following the mainstream propaganda for low-fat diets nor the non-health supporting practices of high-protein bodybuilder diets.
