probably my least favorite of the series

I LOVE this series! All hot and intense hockey romances but this one was a bit much for me. the main character female has super trust issues and I started to think the main male deserved better than her constant insecurities and distrust....

Good but frustrating

This was a disappointing book after my favorite of the Moo U series. The H was a great guy who did all of the right things, only to be treated like crap by the h. Every single issue could have been avoided if she would have simply listened instead of leaping to conclusions. She was so self righteous and hard to listen to.
On the fun side, the secondary characters of copper and penny were awesome and super fun.

Not my Fav in the Series - But Still Worth the Listen

Moo U is a collaboration of authors, which I always enjoy. There’s less risk of a series becoming stale when different authors are involved.

Once I was done with Halftime I could admit I enjoyed it. However, there were some spots where it dragged and wasn’t as entertaining as I have come to expect with the series.

The narrators did a great job of staying in their own lane (making sure the correct voices were used throughout) and both had a voice that is easy to hear, so there wasn’t any risk of me throwing it back (politely requesting a refund) which isn’t outside the norm for me. As I’ve gotten older, I find myself unable to really ‘read’ for fun and have come to rely more and more on audiobooks. Those of you that listen a lot know just how easy it is to ruin a good series with a bad narrator. I have been happy to see (or hear) that all of the Moo U books so far had good narrators. Hopefully this stays true because I’m on to the next book in the series, Darkroom.

Misunderstandings lead to heartbreak

I seriously love these MOO U Hockey series books!! They introduce me to new authors. I really enjoyed this book. It showed how a child’s upbringing can really affect their future. Anyone who has watched someone be cheated on can be pulled into the stress of relationships and think it can happen to them! One drunken phone call that should’ve never happened causes a breakup. I’m pretty sure these two were always meant to be together so it was devastating on the both of them. Little did Sebastian know that Faith would end up playing hockey the next year at his college where he played for the men’s league. Because of his pushy teammate, he brought these two back together and seemed to always fix any issues. Till it seems like things can’t be fixed. Loved the ending of this book, the epilogue totally made me cry…. Happy tears don’t worry!! Haha

Bit boring

I think the female lead was just a little too immature for me on this one, I have enjoyed this series but every once in a while I get annoyed with their inability to communicate when needed and I realize these characters are children in the beginning of adulthood. And this one wrapped up super quick in the end and had no ties to the other books so I sort of wish I had skipped it.

have enjoyed all the Moo U stories so much. I like the love stories entertwined with the play by play excitement of on the ice play of the team. reminds me of college fun. thanks so much for these stories!

Cheater?

I didn't care for this one. The whole story was about the hockey player Sebastian cheating like her dad. He didn't cheat but had to prove over & over that he wasn't a cheater. I felt bad for the guy. It's hard to always feel like you're not wanted.

Meh - just… meh.

The initial few chapters are great. For a moment it appears the Moo U series will continue its winning streak.

After this, it becomes a fairly unimaginative, repetitive, formulaic story.

I continue to be perplexed by the use of Grace Grant for youthful roles. Her voice and manner of speaking is too mature.

Had potential early on but didn’t stay that way.

Easily the most annoying female character in not only this series but other similar sports / hockey romances. I nearly didn’t finish it.
