Love me a grumpy x sunshine story. Ramsey and Tierney's love story had me wanting more and didn't want it to end. Shane and Stella totally brought this book to life! Beautifully done.

What an amazing start to a new series!!!! I loved this one so freaking much! I was hooked immediately and didn’t want to put it down!!!

There is just something about this authors books that I just can’t get enough of…and this book is no different! I really feel like I get transported to where ever the story gets placed! She has truly started my obsession with wanting to visit Scotland!

I absolutely loved Ramsay and Tierney!! They were so good for each other! If you are looking to add another book boyfriend to your list Ramsay will make a great addition! There was never a dull moment in this book! Whether that was due to some suspense aspect or spicy times! Loved it!!

If you are an audio lover make sure you get this one! The narrators were brilliant! I didn’t ever want it to end! They both brought so much life to these characters!

This is definitely one of those books that you won’t want to end!! However I am so excited to see where this series takes us!

So if you’re in the mood for a small town, age gap, alpha hero, angst, forced proximity, found family, grumpy/sunshine, suspenseful romance look no further!!

Amazing start to the new series

Our Scottish queen, Samantha Young, is back with another 5-star read, Half-Light Harbor, the first book in the Scottish Isles Series. She has this uncanny talent to pull you in from the very beginning and make you want to hop on the next flight to Scotland and find your own brooding Scottish love interest.

Half-Light Harbor was an incredible beginning to the Scottish Isles series, and it perfectly captures everything I adore about Samantha Young’s writing. Her portrayal of strong, independent female characters is truly inspiring, and Tierney embodies that spirit perfectly. Ramsay, our grumpy Scot, had me swooning one moment and then wanting to throw my phone across the room next. Men, I tell ya!

Half-Light Harbor is a wild ride with sizzling chemistry, a found family you’ll want to be a part of, and suspense that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat. This book really set the tone for the whole series, and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next with Quinn and Taran’s story.

Shane East and Stella Hunter were amazing. Who doesn't love listening to a man with an accent!

OBSESSED

OMG did I LOVEEE this book!! Not only is the suspense plot BANANAS AMAZING but the ROMANCE between our MCs is just 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is the first book in a new series and my gosh, I am even more excited about the next books after reading this book! I loved the relationship development. I loved the whole plot. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators were perfection.

I can’t recommend this book enough!

This one had spice and suspense and a broody Scottish character to swoon over! Loved getting to know this place and the people who live there and can’t wait for more!

Excellent choice for narrators! Shane East and Stella Hunter are always a delight to listen to!

Age Gap Romance

This book went up and down, then peaked. The FMC, Tierney, is dealing with the grief of her parents' accident, only to find out it wasn't. She decides to start over in Scotland and meets the broody Ramsay. I wasn't a fan of their third-act breakup, but when they’re both stronger together, once they finally reunite.
