Fascinating!
I was drawn in by the title and I have purchased books by the author. This is really informative resource to understand the gut. More and more research shows how important gut health is to your overall health. This book is a super interesting listen. And her voice is amazing - could listen to her all day! Would recommend to anyone, whether you think you need to hear it or not. You wont regret it.

Missing 7 of the 10’episodes
I really enjoyed up to episode 3 and was Disappointed to not be able to listen to 4-10.

Excellent and useful information!
The book covers the role of fibers, legumes, and grains in detail. I particularly liked the balanced approach and explanations about lectins and other foods often maligned out of ignorance.

Extremely informative and very well presented
I have learnt so much, thank you Dr McMillan! It was really interesting and I've listened to all the eposides in less than a week. The narration was done very well and I love the author/narrator's voice and accent. I even laughed out loud a couple of times as the narrator is really humourous and totally draws you in. The information is all built on scientific information by a professional, and explains why some of the fads might be bad for you or which ones is actually good. It was interesting to get to know how my body works from the moment I start a meal and all the processes involved and how it affects my whole body. I will try and look after my microbiome better :)
