Grave will always be one of my favorite MMCs! I love a broken man who will always heal for the right woman. The narration brings the raw emotions to the story to life.

Not only did this bring sappy tears but I bawled my eyes out and just when you think everything is ok boy do you get strung the other way. Shantel you did her so dirty 😭👑. Grave deserved more than he got if you ask me. Such a relatable character. I devoured this one.

I loved how kind and concerned April was for Grave. Her heart is so huge, even for those who wanted to see her fail. 💔 She sees the darkness in him and still chooses to stay, to care.

Grave was hard to read at times; so broken, so lost, just trying to escape his demons. 💀 But when these two collide? Pure fire. 🔥🔥

The spice was perfect, the emotions real, and the story pulled me in from page one. I’m completely obsessed with the Dark Kings world now! 👑

This freaking book may be one of my favorites from the series. The narration brought these characters alive in the best way and the story is just top tier. The struggles the plot points and everything were just ughhh I love grave and his story really resonates with me and made me feel for him.

Waited so long.

I’ve waited for over a year for this series to come to Audible and it really is worth every moment.
Shantel is a phenomenal writer, with the uncanny ability to make the reader/listener to feel as if they are standing in the room with her characters.
The narration was spot on and they both made the story seem more real than just the written words.
