Publisher's summary

Good Sugar Bad Sugar tackles the biggest dietary threat to the modern world: sugar.

Due to refined sugar in so many foods, we are seeing epidemics of obesity and type II diabetes on a global scale.

The warnings are stark - a 50 percent rise in the death toll from type II diabetes in the next 10 years - yet it's not as straightforward as telling people to cut down on the sugar. Sugar consumption is an addiction that begins at birth, and it requires a proven method to get you free.

Good Sugar Bad Sugar applies Allen Carr's Easyway method to this problem of sugar addiction, unraveling the brainwashing that makes us see sugary food as a pleasure or a crutch and replacing it with clearly explained logic.

Excellent!

Read it, or listen to it as soon as you can. Allen Carr easy way to quit smoking helped me stop smoking over 10 years ago. And this book is an equally powerful tool. Highly recommended.

I'm a baker! And this book saved me!

I am around sugar and empty carbs all day long and creeping towards a diabetes diagnosis! I have been wanting to cut bad sugar out of my diet for a long time and this book gave me the how to! I'm so excited now to have this brand new mentality about what foods I eat and I'm 1 week into this new life, feeling like a million bucks! Already! This is exactly what I needed to hear! If you want to cut sugar out of your life and feel like it's not a punishment then this book teaches you exactly how to do that! I love this author! He definitely understands addiction on so many levels!

Amazing

Easy way works! How wonderful.
After I first quit alcohol using easy way, my next target was bad sugar. And it simply works.
My two issues in life were booze and candy.
I was drinking WAY too much and had a history of 15 years of drinking and many failed attempts at stoping. I am 28(yes I started drinking heavily at about 13): ), when I quit I realized that before easy way I had no sober social(after hours) experience. I had my first (in my whole life)sober night out at the age of 28. And it was amazing!
I am now 40 days clean of alcohol and 3 days clean of bad sugar and I don’t have the slightest crave or wish for neither. I honestly believe I won’t have them ever again.

Wow I needed this, best book on quitting bad sugar

Going to listen to this book on repeat so I can let it stay in my brain. Points out all the arguments we have with ourselves and excuses along with the food industry's tricks to keep us hooked. I'm really ready to change after listening.

This is one of the most liberating, enlightening and fun books I have ever read.

I have read this book 3 times now and every time was a fascinating, wonderful, challenging, liberating experience. Actually my favorite way to “read” it is to listen to the audiobook and at the same time I’m reading the printed word.

It feels like it gives me a better way of focusing on what’s being said to read it and hear it at the same time and more fully absorb it. This book explains vitally, important things about our personal experiences, society experiences, and how we are manipulated. Everybody’s heard the term brainwashing, but Alan Carr really explains the true mechanics of it in a simple to understand step-by-step way, that I truly think will add you every person‘s own personal journey to achieve more
mental, emotional, spiritual, freedom and personal power

So happy I could cry 🥹

I’ve struggled with sugar and carb addictions my whole life, and I always thought there was something “wrong” with me. I tried and failed to quit sugar on and off for 20 years, with relapses always worse. Now, I see the light. I understand exactly how I became addicted and that it wasn’t my fault. I used the Easy Way to quit drinking, yet when I started this book, I was afraid it wouldn’t work for me. Miraculously, by the time I got to the end, I had made a mental shift unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. Words can’t describe the joy and elation I feel. Life will never be the same in the best way, and I’m so grateful for the Easy Way method. Kicking caffeine is next on my list! If this book worked for me, it can work for you. There is no other way.

If it gets me off sugar, it's worth it.

I listen to the very best of the best so I had to take multiple breaks from this book. It tended to bore me but if it helps me stay off sugar after years of fighting it, it will be the best purchase I've ever made. Day 8 and counting...
