"It kept me spellbound with all of the imaginative information about ghostly interaction. Performances were strong and well read. Background music was very well done and did not interfere with the story. Great work by all concerned."

About the Creator

Dennis Mahoney runs Equinox Society Radio, a podcast of dark and otherworldly stories—How are you, dear stranger? How are you at night, when loneliness becomes uncomfortable? He also wrote the novels Bell Weather and Fellow Mortals. Dennis Mahoney lives in upstate New York with his wife, son, and dog. In the event of death, communication may still be possible.

About the Performer

A student of neuroscience and speech pathology, Sean Patrick Hopkins translated his understanding of human behavior and vocal performance into a career in storytelling. Cute!

It could have done with a little more every day understanding. As an example the reader never meets the neighbors or anyone else for that matter but this is a fun little October style book.

Like reaching out and connecting

An incredible, nostalgic and touching story, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and it left that tell-tale heart ache in my chest after finishing, that tells this will stick with me for a long time. The characters were realistic, loveable, selfish, caring, confused and scared in the most human of ways. I felt connected to them, and quickly loved their personalities.

I only wish for more from Mahoney. A semi-recent addition to my top 3 authors/artists of all time.

Odd sort of Story

I was mesmerize by this story, was quite Odd but I could not stop listening. This book is one that I believe people will either love or hate. Either understand to some extent or not understand at all. A Very different kind of story about at the start , A boy intrigued by the occult because of his close connection with his mother a Librarian. A Friend/Patron who requested hard to find Occult books and his way of looking at the world fascinate the Librarian and she would talk about him and what he would say to the boy!!
